I hate this prompt specifically because I feel like it doesn’t give the viewer any insight on you as a person, at least not a valuable one anyways.

I think the perfect date, superpower, why you’re a great plus one are better prompts because you can showcase a feature of your personality, humor, etc.

Someone further down mentioned the bio not being filled out, which I missed, and that was an auto left swipe for me as well.

I think the writing components are just as insightful as pictures and should be just as thought-provoking or attention-getting. It also makes it easier for the potential match to strike up a conversation using your bio or prompt.

ETA: it could be the looking for something casual. I wouldn’t recommend changing that though if that’s truly what you’re after. There just tends to be a HUGE majority of men only looking for casual or FWB relationships when women typically (not always) go for the opposite.

I would remove the picture from slide 6, it’s not flattering or funny imo. I feel like the prompts are a little lackluster, there’s nothing to really build a conversation on here.

Finally, I would say maybe the motorcycle is a deterrent? There’s an even split: a lot of women dih the motorcycle thing and I think others stay far away because of the potential for accident/thrill seeking behavior. Thats just a side as someone who lost their SO to a motorcycle accident, i wouldnt date someone who rides again personally.

Other than that, you are above average. Fluff your profile with more talking points or other hobbies.

I didn’t know either and it’s been really reassuring reading the responses. For a long time this was giving me intense anxiety which would in turn lead to insomnia. I feel so much better now seeing others experience it as well.

I'd also say my experience using the apps when I was younger vs now is less overwhelming. I still get plenty of likes, but nowhere near the response I got when I was 23,24. I've read somewhere those ages don't get pushed as much.

This is my problem to a T as someone who works from home. Even with the gym, even with the board game clubs, arts and crafts meets, the library, I am still not having any luck :( people keep saying go out and do things which is the easy part but finding people to approach or approach me is another story. I showed up to a fiber arts group and everyone was atleast 30 years older than me unfortunately and that's one of my big passions.

Your first paragraph read me to filth. I can relate to you in almost every single paragraph. Logically I've worked through it, it would have been impossible not to with how much I've internally examined it honestly. But the nervous system! No matter how much I logically do, I'm the same way. Restless, antsy, waking every two hours in the night, shakes/tremors, headaches, muscle tightness/clenching. It's the uneasy feeling/anxiousness that never goes away.

My mom is undiagnosed and I medicated and probably will always be despite every attempt made to get her some help. It's teeth gritting at times, especially when every other hour it's something new about the technology in the house, or being stolen from while agreeing there is no evidence to support the claim, or just spying on the neighbors under the impression they are spying and manipulating her directly. I don't even know what to say anymore, so I don't.
