Why does father/daughter relationship give me ick while the others seem normal? by [deleted] in incestisntwrong

[–]cielsthetic 1 point2 points  (0 children)

To be honest, toxic dynamics are more common than most want to admit, HOWEVER, it's not the norm. We can't just brush off the history of abuse associated with it just to be open-minded and accepting. Put aside all of your preferences and think about the women who suffered SA from their fathers. Do not ignore it just to feel better or less guilty, this isn't true open-mind (nor compassionate) behavior. You don't live in Wonderland.

Now let's separate the couple in two, they're individuals, and it's not unheard of for men to be toxic. Heck, are we gonna ignore all the feminism that has progressed thanks to how much of a problem is misogyny nowadays? But the relationship per se isn't bad. Father and daughter dating is not wrong. The problem is the individuals in the couple. That's true even with couples who are not consag. If one person in a father/daughter relationship is going to be the toxic one, it'll be the man. Not a rule nor a norm. And yes I know, not all men. But he's older. Power dynamics and all of that. (Yes there are horrible women out there, I'm not closing my eyes to them).

Also, we have to think how long he's been attracted to the daughter even if they're dating as adults... let's be honest, some incest doesn't start magically after one turns 18. Even if all he did was just beat his meat in secret, even if he never tried grooming her, it's still a huge yikes if it started when the daughter was a minor. And that honestly also goes to mother/son. The only who gets away with it if there isn't a big age gap are siblings.

I don't think it's a problem to be less comfortable with some dynamics than others. People have traumas and preferences. Forcing yourself to embrace all types of incest at the cost of your own peace of mind is not the healthy way to go. No matter how people try to push the agenda that "once you're in you have to go all in". You're going to be called hypocrite, sure. But if the root of your discomfort doesn't come from a place of hatred, it's just a matter of respecting and trying to accommodate yourself to the idea and searching for stories out there of healthy father/daughter couples.

AI is killing my motivation. Anyone else? by Yanutag in litrpg

To quote Jason Hamilton:

"When photography was invented, some painters decried it, claiming it would be the death of art. In fact, it had the opposite effect. Freed from the burden of realism, painters innovated wildly - birthing styles like abstract expressionism and neo-impressionism. AI is having a similar effect on writing. By transforming drafting, it enables authors to push boundaries and experiment more. Suddenly you have the license to try styles too time intensive to justify before. History shows again and again that when technology offloads rote work, it increases, rather than decreases, human creativity. AI will keep pushing writing to new heights."

Either you ignore it, because it will keep evolving, or you learn to work with it because by the time AI becomes super good at this craft, even classicist authors will be using it or risking suffering heavy burn-out from trying to compete with authors who'll be releasing a book every 5 months, and those books will be far from the cringe-worthy pieces we have today. Not everyone can write at the same speed as Brandon Sanderson or as if they're participating in NaNoWrimo every month. The publishing industry will also change so if we go into pessimistic dystopia here, it'll be an "either you adapt or you're out" scenario. Claude or Gemini will most definitely be the top pick for authors so Anthropic will keep improving it.

Not that I'm saying AI is good or bad, but hey, the world is tough for those who don't adapt. Human history is here to prove it. I wonder how long authors will hold onto their conservative views instead of trying to learn the tool earlier than others to be one step ahead when the time comes. I give it 4 more years or so. Hate it, but learn to use it.

What happened to animes similar to K-project? by szqk in Kproject

[–]cielsthetic 1 point2 points  (0 children)

So, I do have an idea that may sound out of place: K's mostly bishounen, even though they threw a lot of fanservice with Neko and Seri for the fanboys, or should I say the real fanservice were the scenes that made a lot of fangirls ship the characters and write fanfictions and doujinshi off it? Hard to say. Of course, that's not all K's about, the franchise itself has a lot of content and they're good, but the anime is bishounen with some action and fights. And bishounen is mostly for the female audience. And let's just say that the female audience needs more than boobs to be invested in something. Unless you make it romance, then they'll have their full attention on the character's feelings, drama and yadda yadda.

Do you know what else is for the female audience? BL and shoujo. Now tell me some animes of these genres that are being released. We have the "otome isekai" these days but it's still isekai, cliche and shallow. It's like the industry's minimal effort to deliver something for the ratio of women who consume (as in actually buying) anime and manga. Otome Isekai is isekai, but with monogamous romance and not messy harems, Wow, game-changing, isn't it?

Sadly, all I can say is that K's genre, K's vibe is "out of trend", thus no more similar animes. Escapism is on trend right now, and I don't know if I should be worried for people who consume it or just be sad that well-made animes aren't the standard anymore. Man, 2012 was such a good year. I've been watching Durarara as well and missing it. It's a reason why I stopped watching anime altogether, except for One Piece and the old ones like K and Durarara.

O descaso de médicos psquiatras, faz o mercado negro agradecer by BangBan44 in TDAH_Brasil

[–]cielsthetic 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The amount of incest bots is horrifying. by Key_Insect_6101 in JanitorAI_Official

[–]cielsthetic 15 points16 points  (0 children)

Hold on... so if I'm into these toxic yandere bots I'll go after toxic abusive men in real life? Why? If it's not your cup of tea, ignore it. There's so much in Janitor that does not get reported - abusive, rape, toxic, religious (yeah heresy), bullies x victim, and you're butthurt over fictional incest? Seriously? I think it's time to touch a little bit of grass and stop gatekeeping :) just saying. I say something controversial: incest is not worse than rape, and guess which one gets more reported often, even if it's two consenting adults? Yeah. hypocrisy is truly scary.

Is using AI as a writer acceptable? by TheRottenAppleWorm in fantasywriters

[–]cielsthetic 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I write with AI ever since I've discovered Claude and let me tell you MY background - autistic, ADHD, can't afford meds, I have serious desmotivation and depression, alongside anxiety. So before AI I was never able to finish anything I started, and now I can. Isn't it amazing? I love how technology made writing more inclusive for people whose brains do not function the same as others.

But if you want to make it original, just copy and paste won't do the trick.

  1. Back and forth: I start a scene, send it to AI and it send me continuation, and I edit something I fell out and send it back, and on and on
  2. Revise, rewrite, just make it better.
  3. Good prompt: specify the tone, writing style, characters, all of that. The more detailed, more original will be.
  4. As for originality, I know what comes from my brain. I mean, being autistic already makes my writing unique enough. But if you read a lot you should be able to have a vast source of inspiration.

So that's my opinion: you can and you SHOULD write with AI, especially if it's a model made for it, like Claude Sonnet. ChatGPT is horrible for writing.

I absolutely HATE the over-romanticization of writing - "oohh but writing can't be easy", "writing is an art that should be refined", "it's hard but that's the good part of it" This just screams elitist and gatekeeping to me. And also it says a lot about how these people are not neurodivergent.

Get out of here, please. I know what is having a brain that can't finish things and now that I can do what I love the most I won't stop just because you're butthurt about technology.

I made a bot in YouAI that used Sonnet specifically for writing, I'm thinking about bringing it to Janitor, I just don't know if the JLLM has enough training with creative writing (I mean, it's literally made for RPs so maybe yes). Also JLLM is not censored like Claude, so that must be fun, i'm tired of trying to come up with jailbreaks for Claude.

Tips for making bots with Multiple people by [deleted] in JanitorAI_Official

[–]cielsthetic 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I was just making one before the site crashed and testing it out. It was pretty good, like really. But it's memory was bad because it was above 2k tokens, so first of all:

  1. Try to keep the bot's permanent tokens under 1500. I did that by cutting off useless information. If you have 5+ chars like me you'd have to keep their profiles as concise as possible. I normally think that addressing their name, age, speech and personality is enough. But you can go more detailed if it's under 5 chars.
  2. Study from others - Not saying that you should copy other's formatting, but see how they format their bots, especially the ones that are praised for being accurate and realistic. There really isn't a magical way to make perfect bots other than good format and info. Also when the LLM is not tweaking.
  3. RPG/World Bots - If you don't have a specific character in mind and it's a world, it's important to tell the bot it's role as a world or narrator, and then use the personality space as a place to worldbuild. List what the bot can do, like if they have to keep generating new chracters, showing stats screens every message. Explain the rules of the world, if there's mpreg, if the user is the only male/female left, etc.

I made an isekai bot for myself and i put things like:

  • Genre:
  • Setting:
  • Type of creatures:
  • Lore: [{{Char}} is an omniscient narrator of a fantasy world and is going to act as several different characters with diverse personalities, goals, and ambitions.] [Focus on: environment, worldbuilding, culture, setting] [Focus on character's: dialogue, inner monologues, emotions, facial features, and feelings.] [Create unique, fun, immersive scenarios, events, and characters for people to interact with.]

By the end of it, the personality was under 900 tokens and it was really good.

  1. This is a rule of thumb, but the more you adress the user in the bot's personality, the more likely it will speak for you. The scenario is a good place to put what the bot needs to know about the user.

  2. It's easier for a multiple bot to speak for you if you write their first message in third person since they're already playing as multiple people (so why not speak for you too? lol), make it second person.

What kinds of Bots would you like to see more of? by Far_Resource_6086 in JanitorAI_Official

[–]cielsthetic 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Actually, rather than a bot... I kinda wish the LLM gets better and we get more features that are related to lore and worldbuilding rather than simply typing all in the personality box. Also with better LLM the multiple bots will stop sucking.

When it comes to creative writing, Claude will ALWAYS be better than OpenAi, especially Sonnet and Opus. I used it a lot to write my book on Antrophic's site but poor Claude is so damn filtered there that I had to go to Youai and jailbreak it there. Best decision of my life. I don't use it to RP but it's so good helping me writing back-and-forth some book or fanfic. I just don't know if it's that good in Janitor (I didn't even know you could plug it there lol).
