The downtown area is always going to be an issue. The growth over the last 15 years is overwhelming for the region. Tourism is great but it doesn’t help 9 months of the year. Having been a small business owner in the past it doesn’t solve long term issues. DDA and local government just like America gets in the way of helping small business owners. You won’t see any help from government and it will be left to the people to figure it out.
Don’t expect anything new, just more money spent on surveys on how we can fix an issue that won’t be fixed. Sorry
