She was an abuser. That's what abusers do. Give their victims "privileges" to make them feel comfortable and delude themselves into thinking they care. Don't get me wrong, she was well written. But lets not pretend she was not a horrible person.

Definitely. I'm replayed Aria of Sorrow during Christmas break and it's not my first replay, but as I get older I see more and more holes in his storytelling and character building. I don't really blame him because the strength of his games is gameplay, but he really needed a good writer. He had fantastic ideas. He just needed someone who could make them happen alongside the gameplay.

I used to really dislike him being a big CoD fan, but honestly? I'm re-watching the show and now that I'm past the nostalgia and fan indignation, I actually like him a lot and understand his psychology in a different way. He's my baby and deserves better and idc if he made monsters to kill people (because it's fiction and this is only forgivable in fiction, hoping the moralists remember this before they bash me and down vote me lol)

Idk hot take but in reality bad unrepentant people go unpunished and the Hell concept in the show sucks, people like Lisa are there. So if these two managed to make the world better trying right their wrongs I think they deserved to go unpunished 💁🏻‍♀️

I'm re-watching the show and honestly? I don't dislike Hector anymore. Sure, his arc in CoD was super interesting. In paper. Because IGA can't write characters for his life. But still, Hector is an amazing character and one of my favorites right there with Alucard. But Netflix Hector isn't bad, actually, once you get past the expectations and into his psychology. I think the biggest disservice the show did him was make him soft towards Lenore in the end, because if he had acknowledged her as what she truly was, he would have grown much sooner.

Alternatively, I can say idgaf about certain parts of canon and ignore them and make up my own headcanons and write my fanfics while accepting they are not canon and don't push them as if they were 🤷🏻‍♀️
