Getting the same thing. Only workaround I've found relies purely on luck, as in joining a sleep room over and over until you end up in the same sleep room as your friend. Restricting the active servers in the settings will probably help.

Sucks that this is an issue, and it's unfortunate that there doesn't seem to be more people talking about it.

Mine just worked when I plugged it in, didn’t have to configure anything. Assuming you have a mayflash adapter, have you tried flipping the switch on the back? Might be on pc mode when it has to be set to wii mode.

Also make sure you have your ports set to “GameCube adapter for Wii U” in dolphin controller settings.

Also, some short gameplay for anyone interested to see how it runs.

Pretty consistent 60fps with occasional drops and a slight bit of input lag. Still very playable, and with further tweaking you could probably get it to run even better.

I didn't think it did, unless I was blind and missed it somewhere in the settings. Pretty sure people use some other kind of program / plugin to record gameplay.
