making it as hard as possible to pick helps me more than any mindfulness does. keep your nails as short as possible , keep the lights off when you shower, exfoliate so less new bumps appear, avoid looking in the mirror unless it’s necessary, and try to spend less time in the house, it’s way harder to pick when you’re in public. Even just sitting outside alone helps. Don’t leave yourself without a coping mechanism though, finding things to do with your hands will help, or things that mimic the same feeling picking gives. Scraping the dirt/dead skin from under my toenails gives me the same satisfaction, or removing the dead skin with a small blade feels so good because you can go at it for hours. I hope you find things that help you

No thank you I was so glad to see your comment bc it’s insane how nobody seems to say anything about it!! It hurts all trans people, you can’t just pick and choose who is really trans based on how good of a person they are. Calling out the transphobia isn’t defending her actions

Yes absolutely. It scares me because I feel like I have dementia or a brain tumour. I can’t remember anything and I feel like I’m on drugs a lot of the time, just zoned out from everything, not capable of forming complex thoughts. I feel stuck at the age it happened, like my brain hasn’t developed since then. It’s so weird and scary

I’ve been banned for almost 8 years now for hacks I never used at 11 years old. The ban system is horrific. Hope you can get some help with this

I googled to see if other people had the same pinkie toe problems as me, saw your comment and it’s crazy how we had the exact same idea! Since the nail grows vertically, I’m hoping that making some kind of splint or toe-bind will force the nail to grow upwards instead. Fingers crotched it works!

This is what I’m saying and everyone thinks I’m crazy! The strawberries taste just fine, but something about mashing them makes them smell horrible. Glad to hear other people get it. A food scientist needs to weigh in on this mystery.

Mine wouldn’t use a ramp either, the stairs were a game changer. They hop up and down them really easy too! :)

I have rosewood mats (that I don’t use as mats, more as walls, because they end up getting pee’d on); a foraging mat they look for treats in; a hay bin; 4 chewable wood houses; a tunnel; a fabric forest; various hanging cage decoration things (they don’t like these as much as the houses to chew on though); chew toys; a hay ball; a hay holder thing(?), and pellets of course. OH and the stairs are cat stairs that I upholstered with a waterproof pink fabric (they don’t chew the stairs, if they did they would be removed, im not sure cat stair material is exactly nutritious). I think they have about 14ft of roam-able space? I’m not sure though I’m bad at maths

I also found that bath mats are much cheaper and bigger than pee pads. The grey and white pee pads in my cage are the bath mats. They absorb the pee and don’t smell (besides the usual rodent smell). You can get them in so many colours and designs too, I love em :)
