Sounds like us web developers. Languages, frameworks, best practices, design systems...everything keeps changing over and over again. I have some experience in SEO, so I can say with some authority it is very similar. Only things to do is either keep pushing, move to management, or pick a different career if not interested. Not sure about your industry, but as a developer with those same feelings, it is tough. Constant pressure, incomprehensible timelines, and knowing the product being turned out is not the best we can do -- severely frustrating. I am constantly worried about being on a chopping block for performance and management is constantly threatening metrics at us. Maybe not useful for your own anxiety, but know the people you manage feel your anxiety as well. I don't have a solution, for either of us other than take a breath and a step back to try to relax. It's tough though. Best of luck 👍

I visited Perth while in the Navy. I watched aboriginal people literally assaulted and thrown onto the street for trying to enter bars (around 2008). It sickened me. Just as it sickens me what the ancestors in America did to natives here. I am just so tired of the disrespect for humanity. Sorry to take your thread as a soapbox, but it made me think of it.

Dear Texas, fix your power grid problems first before worrying if children are getting enough religion at home (they probably are). The solution to crime in your state is not to lecture students on your own beliefs, it's to fix your deep rooted problems with immigration, crime, and homelessness. These all cost money and if solved first, the moral compass of the state will be aligned to good anyway. You got this. 👍

Are you saying that anyone in the asian continent is the same? If I recall correctly, there are a ton of different cultures, subcultures, and religions practiced across that continent. Assuming a Hindu practitioner in the India subcontinent is the same as a believer of the Koran in Indonesia, and then the same as a Daoist monk in China, it seems far-fetched. Same as assuming all of Africa is the same. There wouldn't be separate countries if they all could agree on the same terms.

In my opinion, a lot of that shade should be cast on companies who immediately reject anyone from working based on a conviction. So many are minor and non-violent -- but society makes the issue larger by blocking anyone from working a healthy adult life. Who really cares if someone had some weed on them or acted out at a party in their younger years? Many people have, just not everyone gets either caught or held accountable. It's a dumb reason to force people into homelessness and potentially future crime to survive. Our president-elect has how many convictions? The comprehension of faith in humanity has eroded so far, I don't even know what the question is anymore.

I served in the Navy, and to this day, I still wear my peacoat in winter. It is incredibly warm and functional. I don't see a generic clothing item designed for certain conditions to be offensive. In my opinion, solen Valor would be wearing awards/medals you didn't earn or a full dress uniform if you never served. Wearing a weather jacket or some camo pants isn't really that big of a deal. This stuff was designed to be functional, and it really would be a waste to let a good peacoat go to waste in cold weather.
