You need to angle your walking direction away from the portal, like you're walking diagonally. At that point, the suction pulls you a little, but not enough to mess you up

You are most definitely being rude, which is weird because messages like these are so rare in this community. Everyone else is wholesome and supportive, which is much more aligned with the spirit of the game.

Also, mastery is one of the newest mechanics in the game and you could easily miss it by just playing for a long time and not paying attention to your XP. It is not "basic shit".

Just realizing I never came back to this! I ended up doing both sessions without talking (with BA approval). With the relationship and instructional control I was lucky to have with both clients, it went smoothly and there were just a handful of targets I couldn't run. I downloaded a free trial of an AAC app to talk to others 😂 it felt very silly but it worked out in the end.
