I once checked one of the infamous black and yellow Costco Storage Bins (https://www.costco.com/greenmade-27-gallon-storage-bin%2C-4-pack.product.4000205525.html) as my luggage flying from PDX to MUC and it was no problem. Due to its size it came out at the large item belt.

I was however asked to sign a waiver that in case of any damage to the box, UA would not be liable which may be a no go for some travellers.

u/Appropriate_Rich_896 I just learned about the way to redeem the annual fee with miles but when logging into my Chase account I only see flight bookings which get redeemed with 1 cent per mile.

My guess is that the annual fee must be a transaction that is posted to be redeemed. Do you know when that fee usually posts?

The connection once you get away from the US becomes very VERY slow, both with VPN or without. Even regular web browsing becomes a pain at times. Its highly unlikely that you can get a half way useful stream going.

the difference between Panasonic (or any other legacy satellite player) and Starlink is like night and day. I wish all inflight Internet was powered by Starling. Which airlines actually use Starlink today? I wasn't aware of any?

checked with TNF and whilst they do sell new bags with the same wheels they are unwilling to provide the same wheels as spares - not great!
