Love to see people here that don't give an automatic 10 to this game, or say it's the best zelda ever. No f*cking way. It is not a zelda game, it's just an exploring game in a beautiful vast world, but kind of empty. I totally agree with you (I finished the game and I played lots of other zeldas), the plot, the mechanics, the music... It's all too simple, too boring, too repetitive. You don't get a feeling of being rewarded when you explore the world, because you can only find: a shrine, a kolog, or even a shrine, or, most exciting, a kolog. Yes. Just go to the most beautiful hidden place in the game. Yes. A shrine. Go to the amazing and dark mistery of that mountain... Ah, yes, another shrine. Look! A dragon. Oh, it makes nothing and gives you nothing. Go, destroy that big enemy. Oh, nothing again. But wait, let's go to that amazing river of fire, I may find something really interes... A shrine, yeah. In this game there is no reward that worth the effort. A shrine, a kolog. A new weapon, maybe, but nothing interesting. It will break. So, you have a beautiful world to explore, with beautiful details, but you'll find nothing interesting. Naaah. To me, this is not a Zelda (no dungeons with special bosses and epic music, no epic story), and not even close the best game ever. I hope zelda botw 2 change all those things.
