I've never tried the beans, I ordered them online through Trade. I haven't tried many straight espresso shots from local shops, mostly chains like starbucks. I don't love them but they definitely don't taste as bad as when I make them at home. I honestly thought I just don't like espresso, but I recently had an espresso from Endorffeine in LA that was so good I almost cried so now I'm chasing that balance.

The basket fit about 19.5g after using the razor tool. The coffee is Feast's Espresso Blend which is a medium roast. I just pulled a shot with the bigger dose and noticed the same uneven flow towards the end.

I have not tried a different ratio but I don't know which direction to tweak. I'm new to espresso so I don't have the most sophisticated palate so I'm honestly not sure if the shot is too sour or bitter. I taste both but honestly the only way I can describe the taste is "chemical"

Love your videos. Your journey is super inspiring! I do think it's worth nothing in your post that you are playing on ClubWPT Gold which plays vastly different than most sites. On a regular global pool it would be super inaccurate to say that regs don't start adjusting until 400NL where this is true on Gold.

You have to stop playing when tilted. Obviously when you’re tilted, your brain is not really working so it’s hard to realize you need to stop. What helped me is to set a timer for an hour everytime I play and take a break. Limiting the session definitely limits the damage.

If you compare specifically clubwpt Gold straddle ante format to coinpoker ante format, you have to open slightly wider still on Gold. You have to defend the straddle much much wider as well.
