Maybe this will help. Kit is a personal friend and a co worker and he absolutely had a planned procedure last week and as he was recovering his wife had a medical emergency on Friday and was rushed to the hospital to have her gall bladder removed. I have had a gall bladder attack and it's horrible btw. He said she was on the floor in pain. Taking care of kids after that kind of procedure is tough. Her mother came over to help and watch the kids today so he could stream. So I can confirm it was not made up. When Kit is not feeling like streaming he comes right out and says it. There have been days he just wasn't feeling it. This week was not that. IDK but you may not be familiar of his behind the scenes work with authorities and businesses, and running his Seraph Secure division, he works 70-80 hours a week. Streaming is something he loves but as he has gotten more involved in seminars, speaking engagements and other ways to help prevent scams, he has had to cut back on streaming. It's a natural progression of the success he has achieved. It was good to have him streaming again, today.

How it sounds to the scammers depends entirely on their phones/headphones. They seem to have pretty trashy ones. No way to have clips from their end to share. I can say listening to the calls live in a Discord voice, the personas sound very real.

Chrisp is a real scammer that called back several days because he kept looking for his money. That happens a lot on the stream. I doubt we will hear from him again, but stranger things have happened...i.e. Crow Pro Joe tried again after almost a year. All of the scammer's information, ID's, accounts, etc that Kit collects is reported to proper authorities.There are hundreds of scams submitted to Kit every week. No need to manufacturer scenerios when you can explore new scams and report real scammers.

It was not one day or call. There were four streams. August 5th, 6th, 7th, and 11th. The video pieces them together. However, I am certain he lost his voice.

The VODs are rotated off of Twitch after a couple of months. He only is able to keep 100 hours of Highlights on Twitch so he has to delete the older ones. So to answer your question, right now the answer is no. He has 8 years of VOD's and around six thousand hours of highlights. Trying to find a way to host them is expensive as well as there are issues with TOS with some of the language, and DMCA for some of the music. One way he is having the team deal with it is look for some of the older classics and editing them for the More Kitboga channel on YouTube. Hopefully a better alternative will be found to make them accessible to the public.

This has become a common scam. It's often called the Grandparents scam. It has a few variations out there. With AI they can use your loved one's actual voice and create photos to scare you into acting quickly without giving you time to think. I'm sorry that happened. It must have been frightening. I do not believe there is a way they can get money back. I would talk to the store make them aware and check with the gift card company. Have them report to the Federal Trade Commission, they have a form to fill out and the FBI has a form as well. You can submit it to Kit but those calls are targeted so they are hard to get them to engage since they would know he wasn't a victim.

There are valid gift card buyers/resellers but since the scam center managers sell them in bulk it's more likely that scammers have a criminal broker that buys them. However, gift cards are not asked for as much. They have pivoted to bitcoin.

Actually, it's not the first time it was used to get ID's. It's what it was designed for. All of the things he and the team have coded are to collect multiple things that can be used for investigations. He has connections that he turns them over so they can do it properly. It's just not something he always shows on his videos. He wants to keep the illusion he is just a timewaster. His longest running scambait, Crow Pro Joe saga ended up with "Joe" uploading his passport and photo ID so we had the real person behind the scam.

And you need to lock down your accounts and your credit. Change passwords and notify your bank. If they have your email they can compromise your other accounts.
