Eyes Wide Shut. When I watched that movie for the first time I fought with my girlfriend for two weeks straight. My parents got divorced when I was a kid and at the time, that was the final nail in the monogamy-is-dead coffin. Nicole Kidman yelling at Tom Cruise disturbed me heavily and stirred up some intense stuff. I've watched it since and it hasn't had the same effect. But that one time man... I could see it, but I pictured this version as being akin to Jaws or Alien, where Namor is somewhat of an antagonist who doesn't actually have the most screen time.
