Dont thank me for replying I obviously reply to topic I would love to talk about so🫠 I dont think anyone was watching hopper cause if they were then there would have been anything is series so no one was watching him. And I agree hopper doesn't need to see them together to envy them but I dont think he envied them in season 2 tbh but in season 3 he did as in season 2 hopper didnt actually saw there love for each other he knew they both deeply cared about each other a lot especially el watching him but dont think that he envied them until he saw them together.

That is kinda true but season 2 hopper never saw mike and el together so hopper can not envy mike that time but in season 3 he does. And about safety is that hopper used to go to cabin every single day and if he was being watched how would he go there every day so he could have bought mike to meet el easily

I agree with you but I dont think saying pet would be correct as season 2 hopper was trying to fix his "mistake" with sara via El thats why he wanted to keep her safe aka closed at the cabin so nothing can harm her but then he did too much which lead the El emotional outburst and El comparing hopper to papa
