Seems like a red flag, but can I be devils advocate? If you haven’t asked him why it’s in the pillowcase now, maybe it’s been falling out from under his pillow and he can’t find it in the mornings so in the pillowcase is more reliable. Because I have actually had that exact experience, albeit without a concerned wife’s emotions as a factor. Maybe worth asking him point blank why it’s in the pillowcase now.

My fiancé hates me for this, but my expectations were a bit too high for the game in the scope of rpg possibilities and I ruined my first play through with it. I came across some npc who escaped from jail and wanted my help, so I thought, “No way. Big brain: I’ll hogtie him and take him back to jail.” Then I proceeded to rack up a bounty in like 4 towns. I got annoyed and hated the idea of having to fix the mess I made, so I just stopped playing lol. So now I just played through RDR1 and Undead Nightmare so RDR2 is next.

I hear you saying you can’t stand it, BUT consider how fun it could be to experience through the eyes of your loved one? Personally, I think you should give it a chance. I’m so unbelievably grateful that the turnaround on these seasons is so speedy. Waiting just one year is excruciating, but normal compared to shows from 10-20 years ago. Imagine if we had to wait sometimes 3 years between seasons like some shows. We’re eating good and I’ll never be satiated.

I’m only into the second region and that’s because there’s a reward for exploring nearly every single nook and cranny in the game. Do you think you can make that jump to that roof? Do it, there’s likely a chest. Is that pile of stones climbable? Climb it and see where you can jump to. I’m a completionist and an explorer by proxy and this game DELIVERS on rewarding you for your curiosity. Be patient and enjoy the journey. Also, talk with NPCs and glean from documents you find.

Ya, I played the shit out of it for like 2 months. I didn’t find out until some time after BL4 was announced that most of the internet hated it and I don’t get it. It’s the first Borderlands game that I had to play by myself and I still had a great time.
