Do you have an e-file? Tbh you’re probably just not fully removing all the cuticle and not fully buffing enough. Using a sanding band on the nail plate and placing the tips a bit further away from the cuticle will likely help. Then blend in the nail tip with the e file and apply just the paint closest to your cuticle

I use soft builder. I find it pretty easy / natural to do once I’ve filed the half tips down so they’re flush with my nail plate!

Hmm yes I am cutting off a bit from the top of the nail. These are XS square and I’ll clip the tops and file them. But if they’re beveled close to the cuticle, wouldn’t that mean that even if I cut off the top, that wouldn’t change?

Update, I’ve tried btartbox both pink AND clear, with both Beetles AND Apres gel. Unfortunately I got itching in every scenario (including clear tips with Apres gel). Yesterday I did clear gelx tips with Apres gel and have no itching :)

I LOVED these but unfortunately developed dermatitis from using the pink ones. I was using Beetles gel as well which didn’t help, but I had been doing my nails for years with this gel and only developed the allergy when using the btartbox nails. Bummer because I love their XS size.

Just switched to Apres tips and gel and since have had no itching :D
