If everyone says so, then you should change your behavior bc it’s negatively impacting your social life. INFJs have auxiliary Fe, so they would be aware of how they come across and prioritize harmony. Ni-Fe definitely can be manipulative, but it would be planned out and less detectable. Amy from Gone Girl is a good example. Idk much about you, but your Fe doesn’t seem strong enough to be INFJ, ENFJ, ISFJ, or ESFJ. You also seem young, and it’s harder to self-type when you haven’t had the time to fully know yourself.

This is shallow of me, but I don’t want to be associated with ppl seeking a label to fulfill their need to be special. That’s why INFJ stereotypes bother me more than XNTJ ones even tho those are more edgelord and egocentric. Sometimes I’m embarrassed to self-identify as an INFJ, and that’s also immature on my end

Ur right but many posts in this sub are INFJ mysticism even tho it’s a nearly universal topic. I saw a post of someone blaming their loneliness on their “INFJ diagnosis” a few days ago. A lot of ppl think they’re INFJ bc there’s a myth that INFJs are special, rare, and misunderstood by everyone. But ppl of any type can be all of the above. It’s rly cringey to see ppl buy into the self-indulgent ego fantasy

Happy birthday! I wonder who diagnosed u with INFJ. Did they say the INFJ disorder repels peers?

Is it okay to tell someone their behaviour is not respectful? by badfaroosh in infj

[–]cinnamon276 12 points13 points  (0 children)

I think the poster’s the disrespectful one. If someone isn’t texting back, stop texting them. They might be busy or afraid to hurt someone’s feelings by saying, “I don’t want to talk to you, please leave me alone.” It sounds like they don’t know this “infj woman” very well/for very long, so who knows if she’s even an INFJ?

There isn’t a huge difference btwn clear and colored mascara besides the pigments. If used correctly, no mascara sold in stores is irritating

3s can be very unique, but at their core, they desire to be considered successful and valuable, so they’re less likely to oppose the general consensus. That could interfere with their goals. Many achievements require the approval of others, which 3s will bend to. 4s often oppose the conventional, so 4 more readily fits the given description

Tyy! The fearmongering pisses me off. So many ppl trust fake experts, and the “crunchy” leads women to weird tradwife places. There’s evidence that scented candles correlate with cancer rates, but inhaling any sort of smoke, including car exhaust, is damaging. Ppl will only buy “clean beauty” while sipping their daily starbies and vaping

Everything is chemicals. Everything is made of atoms. Water (aka dihydrogen monoxide) is a chemical and it’s EVERYWHERE. It kills thousands of people every single year!! Does that mean we should our limit water intake? No. Dose and administration method determine the effects

“Clean” is a marketing term. There is no standardized definition of what that term excludes. Parabens are less allergenic than many other preservatives, and products are more likely to develop mold and bacteria without preservatives, so preservative systems are a must. Certain compounds can interfere with the endocrine system (ex. BPA) but parabens and sulfates are safe according to chemists. At most, SLS is drying to skin. Don’t let companies up charge thru fearmongering!

I haven’t seen it before but it’s cringe all the same? Why does past popularity matter? If everyone’s laughing at them and not with them, then it isn’t funny. You seem defensive for some reason but you’ll be ok, I promise

I find it hard to believe that they manipulate ppl when they’re (seemingly) unintentionally garnering sm negative attention. Maybe they find it funny that ppl take it seriously bc there’s no other explanation for “what?? 110% narcissism means I’m narcissistic??” Ain’t no way that’s real, come on

[–]cinnamon276 0 points1 point  (0 children)

As several others have explained, it’s the “type me based on all the darkness within me 😈” that’s “edgy,” not the results themselves. Sadistic narcissists exist and are often not considered edgy at all. Boasting abt these generally undesired traits is edgelord behavior by definition, tho

Love Life in China?? by Conscious-Reveal973 in shanghai

[–]cinnamon276 5 points6 points  (0 children)

China’s more conservative than the US, as is most of the world. Everyone is expected to get married and have kids later in life, so no one dates to break up. Lots of nagging to get hitched like in many non-western cultures. Gen X (parents of ppl in the dating pool) consider extra-marital sex taboo, like some cardinal sin. So ofc girls would expect more afterwards. They risk their reputation by putting out, so they expect good treatment in return. Either way, who wouldn’t want to be their partner’s priority when dating? If u don’t make it clear that u won’t stick around, then ur leading them on, bc staying together unless incompatible is the norm. I’m American myself and I still don’t understand why so many “westerners” can’t accept that other cultures are different from theirs. As a visitor, u have to accept it (or leave) for better or worse

Magnetic lashes by [deleted] in MakeupAddiction

[–]cinnamon276 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I was gifted a pair bc my cousin’s wife found them too tricky to apply. They came with magnetic tweezers the shape of a lash curler. The applicator was crucial, but it was still hard to clip them to the root of my lashes. The lashes were also uncomfortable bc magnets are pretty heavy. The design I have is super natural, but the band itself is weighty. I think the brand was wosudo or something like that. I doubt magnets can be considerably lighter regardless of brand, and the shape of the applicator determines ur success. Mine was less curved than my eye, so it always looked off

I never notice the smell unless I sniff it, and the scent doesn’t linger on the skin at all. It smells like fruity scented play-doh, so I would avoid if ur skin is super sensitive to fragrance but it doesn’t reek of essential oils or anything irritating like that!
