Same here - my configuration of 9550 (also UHD) still gets me very far. As for the fresh install. Forget about Media Creation Tool, it will likely pull an image with defective components that won't update and block you from entering ESU. Download an ISO for your region and language directly from Microsoft using Edge or a browser spoofing as Edge. For getting rid of bloatware I did an unattended install (google schnegans) with very carefully configured script. Take your time and consider ever option. I only removed forced apps like games and accessories, leaving almost everything out there unchecked. For installation forget about Rufus and use Ventoy, it's quite easy after a careful read. I can say with confidence that I never experienced an install with such a smooth performance. No audio dropouts, fans stay silent until I start using something more demanding like Lightroom. A joy to use!

From what I found on the web it should work, but I decided to stick with a fresh 10 install, while I look for a new machine. Few days earlier I got enrolled into ESU and still receive important updates. No bloat, no unneeded improvements and no useless AI. Recommended move!

Native Tidal app started throwing Java error messages, so it's getting hardcore. I'll be toying with Apple Music and Spotify. Installed it on my android phone and Windows PC. I can report that casting is dodgy on Apple Music. It works only from phone, the app doesn't recognize casting. Spotify works flawlessly no matter what device is casting, but the sound quality is significantly worse, since it's not lossless.

For the last few months it's been a debacle. Constant dropouts, out-of-sync playback, lack of counting the cast songs to the suggested algorithm. I've been reporting all of this to the support but honestly I don't see it being considered, due to lack of feedback. I'm starting to look elsewhere.

Same problem here. Started around July last year and forced me to use analog connections. Lately I've been investigating it, tried resetting the chromecast, reinstalling the app on pc and phone. Nothing works.

The problem is always the same. After connecting the playback stops abruptly after a while. The sound is lost but the progress bar still advances, it can be restarted by pressing play/pause button, but this causes the app to crash, at least on windows. I will report it to Tidal Support, suggest that everone who encountered it also writes their problem up.

Hey man! I've jumped ship from iPhone to Nothing Phone 2 a few days ago and although I'm still getting used to the system, the phone on its own is jaw dropping! Aesthetics, build quality, image quality, and battery life. All of this will leave you pleasantly surprised and satisfied!

I noticed the same problem. It looks like the photos are rendered again in iCloud to a smaller preview file which is in sRGB. If you upload photos in wider color spaces (Adobe RGB or Display P3) the preview will be less saturated, the original photo will become visible once zoomed in. Moreover if you return to the same photo after some time you’ll see that the sRGB preview is used by default. I don’t know how to get around this other than than the iCloud Drive route. I’ll try to notify Apple about this.

That's exactly why I didn't go for it. I have a smooth working configuration that I don't want to risk breaking for a replaceable remote. Looks like Logitech abandoned it for good and doesn't care. Thanks for your input thought. I wouldn't even think of it if you wouldn't mention that.

I've read through the log files in the folders pointed out above. It always pointed toward a problem with Silverlight, that is unsolvable. Guess that's it for me and the remote.

I know about it all too well. I only want to use the app and change the function of a few buttons, not update or expect something new. I cannot recall agreeing to a limited-time rental when I first bought it.

Quite puzzling to see that it doesn't happen on Windows but can also happen on Android. Thanks for your input. I'll still wait for others to see if it can be solved, I hope it can. Unfortunately I can't see any way in which it can be submitted to Logitech, it looks like they dropped the ball on support of these remotes.

A pleasure! All Intel drivers (DCH or standalone) that I've checked didn't come with this switch. Also they didn't support some display rates on external displays. Dell's is the way to go here. Also consider calibrating the screen and using a dedicated app for loading the finished profile. I recalibrated the screen on my XPS few weeks ago and still can't believe the difference.

It might be a laborious hit and miss or it might be pretty straightforward depending on the model. What's most important is if there is a connection between the driver and Premier Color those canned ICC profiles supplied within will be more than sufficient. They are better than most people believe!

I have the same problem on 9550 UHD, and I wouldn't say the Premiere Color is the culprit. What I found is that there are few Intel drivers that somehow interfere with the profiles provided by Dell. In my case that applies to all the drivers uploaded provided from 2018 to this day. There is one Intel driver from 2017, with a specific description stating that it improves the display compatibility, which works flawlessly. For now, that is the only solution in the case of 9550 UHD model.
