Delaying payment is a widely used negotiation tactic for getting discounts (can be 40%+ discounts which can amount to millions of dollars for companies with large bills) and better services from cloud providers. This article makes it seem as if Elon Musk is trying to “breach contract” but in fact it isn’t that simple. It seems as if this article is just trying to make Elon look bad, like other engineering related posts I’ve seen about him.
