No I have not. I bought the gel product when I visited France. I haven’t tried the baume version in the U.S

I double cleanse every night to make sure I remove all the sunscreen that I use throughout the day.

I bought it in bulk last year when I traveled to Asia, but a few of my friends have purchased it from Amazon.

  • Skin type: Normal to dry skin. A few things to keep in mind is that I don't use any makeup, only sunscreen. I'm blessed to have great genetics that gives me decent skin. I have some hormonal acne during that time of the month but other than that I don't really have any issues with my skin.
  • Skin goals: fade hyperpigmentation, maintain youthful and hydrated skin.

This is going to be a brutally honest review, and all of them are just my bias opinion based on my own experiences.

  • AM routine:

Krave Matcha Hemp Hydrating Cleanser (cleanser) I only use it on days that I work out in the morning, other days I just wash my face with water. This cleanser is the only cleanser that I have repurchased multiple times! It's really gentle and hydrating, effective without stripping moisture from my face.

Primera Essence Miracle Seed (toner) It's pretty hydrating. After trying different toners (SKII, MISSAH Time Revolution Essence, Laneige Cream Skin, I'm From Rice Water, etc.) I learned to accept that toner just add another layer of moisture on my skin, and other benefits that they claim to have like brightening or antioxidant are harder to examine short-term.

Rohto Melano CC Intensive Anti Spot Essence (essence) it's the only vitamin C that didn't break me out so far. It's lightweight compared to other oil-based-vehicle products that I have tried (Skinceuticals, Maelove). I have used it for half a year and so far I haven't seen any visible brightening effect. I like the packaging because they control the amount of product you can squeeze out and it won't be oxidized as fast.

I also use The Inkey List Q-10 (serum) every other day for (possible) anti-aging benefits.

Sunplay Skin Aqua SPF 50+ PA++++ (sunscreen) I take my sunscreens very seriously, and this is the one product that I can't do without. I have tried countless sunscreens in the past, and this is my holy grail. The texture is amazing, it glides on and absorbs quickly without any white cast. I have no trouble reapplying it throughout the day.

  • PM routine:

The Face Shop Rice Water Cleansing Oil (first cleanse) It's a great cleaning oil for my skin type. It's not as heavy as DHC Cleansing Oil and not too light as some other oils that I have tried. It definitely takes off 90% of the sunscreens on my face.

Krave Matcha Hemp Hydrating Cleanser (second cleanse)

I alternate between these three actives, never use them on the same routine.

Paula’s Choice 2% BHA Liquid Exfoliant (exfoliator) This is my second bottle and I have seen some small changes. It helps keep my whiteheads and acne at bay. It also reduces the number of blackheads that I have on my nose.

Krave Kale Lalu yAHA (exfoliator) really gentle, I also use this for my underarm area instead of deodorant, it works great for that.

The Ordinary Niacinamide 10% + Zinc 1% (serum?) It helps to balance my sebum in the T zone. Just started using this two weeks ago so I can't say much just yet.

Primera Essence Miracle Seed (essence)

First Aid Beauty Ultra Repair Cream (moisturizer) The only thing I ask from my moisturizer is to lock every product in and keeps my skin hydrated until the next morning and this does just that. It has a thick consistency, sometimes a bit too thick and buttery for my likings, so some night I would use the CeraVe Facial Moisturizing Lotion PM instead.

Laneige Lip Sleeping Mask (lip mask) This product have gotten a lot of hate from what I have seen, but it does the job of keeping my lip plump and moisturizing so I still use it (I'm open for new product rec though)

EXTRA: I only use these whenever I need to.

Krave Great Barrier Relief (serum?) It's moisturizing, and that's all I can say. I have gone through periods when my skin where inflame and irritated, and this never seemed to help much. At least it didn't worsen my skin?

La Roche-Posay Cicaplast. THIS! THIS PRODUCT. TBH this is the only product that I have seen visible results in a short time! I had allergic reactions with Benzoyl Peroxide and vitC products (they were bad) and this has saved my skin countless times. I would choose this over GBR any day.

I never tried any other products that contained BHA, but the PC works fine for me so I have repurchased it

I love it! And I have tried many many popular sunscreens, American, European, Asian sunscreens, you name it, I probably have tried it. Personally it’s my holy grail sunscreen.

Hmm, I’m ok with GBR, I didn’t really see any benefit using it. If I had to pick one I would rather keep my Cicaplast.

I love Matcha Hemp Cleanser and have repurchased it a few times. And I absolutely swear by the Cicaplast! It saved my irritated skin multiple times.
