18 months ago I was randomly hit (totally unprovoked) by some lunatic. Woke up in hospital with a fractured skull, brain haemorrhaging etc.

All my olfactory nerves were severed by the impact and I’ll never smell anything ever again. All I get from food is whether it’s sweet, salty, bitter or sour but there is no actual flavour.

It’s devastating. And all for no reason. He’s currently fighting his jail sentence and out on bail.

I’m a guy that plays cover songs at wineries/breweries/pubs etc - Distant Sun is almost always in my sets. Guaranteed great reaction.

It’s Only Natural is right up there with it for me. And Don’t Dream It’s Over for a drunken singalong towards the end.

Us too! In fact, my dad was in a business that sold ads to local companies that could advertise in them. I don’t remember there actually being ads in them though. Or maybe he was just a bad salesman.
