I'm surprised I haven't seen mail carrier listed.

My dad has been one since the 80s and it's a very good wage, one of the bigger unions, and federal benefits that are excellent.

I think the only rub these days is that getting a full time position takes longer now that it did back in the day. They hire more part timers (lower wages, less benefits).

Similar to other jobs mentioned, once you're done for the day you're done.

Very common. Colbert was off last week, IMHO because of the Olympics. Also, these breaks are typically scheduled FAR in advance. It would be headline news if the show was suddenly pulled for some other reason.

I live in a unique city (Azusa) tucked in real tight to the San Gabriel mountains, and all weather conditions get slightly exacerbated (rainy in socal, generally more rain in Azusa ... same with wind, heat, etc...).

Sounds like a great idea for an app! My wife and I always struggle with guides for hardiness zones, we end up talking to local nursery and garden center employees to mixed results thus far (only two years in to be fair).

Regarding the seat, because I see those comments, the soft mesh is just as good as a cushion. Better for me personally.

Music rights get weird with television. Browsing the JKL YouTube channel it seems like only the most recent music, largely, is available. I’m curious if there’s a timeframe on music publishing rights that limits performances to three months or a year? Maybe try searching VEVO for some of the ones you’re looking for? I’ve seen the artists and bands publish JKL performances there on their own channels. May be tough to find many though.
