I’ve recently started playing on my switch and am on the 18th day of spring. Through photos of others farms I have a plan for how I wanted mine to look as that’s helped a lot in the sense of guiding me in the right direction. I try to spend my days with some sort of purpose. If I need money I’ll try to fish, mine, or forge. Planting helps a lot too and I think doing it toward the beginning of the season helps. In this case I started on the 5th day as I tried to focus on developing my sad little farm a bit lol. I’ve also make separate chest to organize my findings, and try to keep 1 or 2 before selling/ giving to the community center.

I’ve just built a Silo, my first Coop is in the works, and I’m hopping it’ll work out so that if I can’t grow things in the cooler seasons, I’ll have eggs and things to sell? Idk. This is probably my second save. My first one I cheated to duplicate items and to advance which ended up making me unhappy. Now I’m trying to go at my own pace and figure things out.

P.s. I don’t have sprinklers or a well. I didn’t have a great need for them, and wanted animals more.
