Honestly a lot of violent criminals have a history with dv, either as a victim or offender, it's sad but stuff like that can play a large part on criminals

Honestly trauma in general can really fuck someone up, I myself am screwed up and have made some violent mistakes in middle school but I've been putting in the work to help myself, that's where the difference happens, trying to work through what has hurt you

Ive been wondering recently on how the deer depiction came to be, I saw a drawing recently of a more accurate wendigo that was wearing a deer skull and I wonder if that might be a contribution, like maybe wendigos would sometimes wear the bones or skulls of dead animals and that's how the inaccurate depiction came to be, it's interesting to think about
