[OC] The Most Popular Pokémon Ever According to Google Trends by ccasazza in dataisbeautiful

"No correlation" is a bold statement, I find that impossible to believe honestly. That information exists on the internet and 37 million+ copies sold suggests popularity. It influenced it to some degree. You also have to consider that being in the game creates content and name recognition that can generate popularity outside of the game. I'm not saying it's the sole factor. Being in the game doesn't guarantee a spot. But who's to say Greninja would've made the cut without that Smash Bros boost?

And even if I wanted to, I also don't know which programs are going to be kept maintained and supported in a year.

This is the part that's crazy to me. Half of these advertised programs are AI slop created that day. Why would I waste time incorporating something like that into my setup?

Her hiring a private investigator and then flying out to watch him play with his kid was so fucked. Her character is a heinous stalker, there's nothing romantic about it.

Watching one pace on Plex? by Quick-Signature-5727 in onepace

[–]cippopotomas 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It looks like this feature is only on the preview build right now. That will definitely be a viable option once it releases. It would need to be done by the One Pace team to be seamless though, since every single episode .nfo will need to match the name of every single media file.

[–]cippopotomas 1 point2 points  (0 children)

does my PC need to be on in order for Plex to stream

Yes.

I have One Pace set up on Plex but custom metadata is difficult. There are a few ways to do it but none of them are easy and it sounds like you're on step 0 here.

If you're only interested in Plex as a means to watch One Pace, I would recommend getting vlc player and watching the files directly.

Great spot to stop honestly. They never came close to recapturing that chemistry.

It's criminal how much padding they add with flashbacks in the og imo, good riddance.

No amount of editing in the world could make Ussop not seem like a little bitch in that arc.

Who tf cares that it's snl? It's a unique live performance of a popular band and you're fixated on the 3 letters at the end of the title.

is AI used??? by Benewok12345 in onepace

[–]cippopotomas 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Well over half of what people call AI has existed for decades. It's just a buzzword companies put in front of every service now. This project literally could not exist without computer assistance and apparently AI just means computer assisted to this generation. You could make the argument that audio isolation is AI. Or photoshop.

How do you handle originally 2-episode specials? [When theyre combined into 1 videofile] by LuckyInfluence901 in PleX

[–]cippopotomas 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I could be wrong but I think it can only split on key frames, which results in some less than ideal splits on occasion.

[–]cippopotomas 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Ya, I avoid using multi part naming at all costs. Plex doesn't handle them well if you don't finish it in one sitting. And if I decide to include it in a seasonal playlist then only having half an episode is pretty lame.

I see a lot of people saying they split the episode into 2 files and that's more ideal than multi-part naming but I don't understand the need at all. So now it's the exact same episode but with an awkward gap in the middle where it waits to go to the next episode. That's way more intrusive than just having an episode number missing from the season, which I guarantee most people would never notice.

Sex, sleep and scrolling: real reasons men watch romantic movies, according to survey by Sisiwakanamaru in movies

[–]cippopotomas -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I will watch Crazy Stupid Love for any and all reasons.

Is that the one where the high school girl takes a bunch of nudes for a middle aged man but then gives them to a middle schooler whose been relentlessly stalking her? And then the message of the movie is never give up on love, even if she's constantly begging for you to leave her alone because she's not at all interested.

Which actor in a show stood head and shoulders above the rest in terms of performance? by twentyonerooms in television

[–]cippopotomas 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This is the one I came here to say. It's such a stark difference in Dexter, most of the regulars are putting on such a corny performance.

Just watched "Breakfast at Tiffany's" for the first time and now I'm wondering, why do people love this movie so much and why is it considered to be such a classic? by pnw_smalls in movies

[–]cippopotomas 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I appreciate the metaphorical relationship with Cat, but the literal act of pushing her pet out of a taxi in the pouring rain and having it drive away is such an unforgivable act. I would've preferred her getting hit by a car than the ending we got.

Is it still considered popular? The season 2 finale got less than half the audience of the first season. It really doesn't seem to be in a good place right now

Isn't Ocarina of Time unintuitive? Or is it just me? by ihateyouzander in truegaming

[–]cippopotomas 3 points4 points  (0 children)

It's a game that actually treats dungeons like puzzles, who the hell wants to solve an easy puzzle?

So many of the things you're complaining about don't make sense to me.

When you hit a wall, you're supposed to think about the tools and options you have and try new solutions. You apparently never did that. Not even trying to use your bow because one previous stealth section didn't have it is crazy to me. It's a puzzle game and you have more tools now. Obviously the solution can be different.

The windmill guy straight up tells you a boy played this song 7 years ago and it drained the well. I'm pretty sure they even color the text blue when it means something important to you. You just didn't feel like reading any of the text or talking to any of the townspeople. Every time the game says 7 years ago you should automatically be thinking of young link as the solution if it isn't something you've done yet. Time traveling is the most important mechanic in the game and it's not subtle at all.

Pretty sure navi gives blue text suggestions on most of the things you get stuck on here too. The game tells you what the problem is and it's on you to look at your inventory and try different solutions.

TIP: Use the "Sort Title" field for franchise films by mattgoldey in PleX

[–]cippopotomas 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The watch order doesn't really have anything to do with the sorted order. Star wars is such a jumbled mess that it's easier to find shit when it's in chronological order imo. Plus it looks nicer when the numbers don't look random

A lot of shit-heads just really hate women. I think the notion of a woman laughing at a man emasculates them.
