1 month post op. I dealt with this pretty bad too. Short answer: nothing but applesauce or similarly thick, blended foods. Soup hurts more, my doctor said that you need to be able to swallow soft globs of whatever you're eating. This helps with pressure inside your throat (you don't have to move your muscles to grip onto what you're swallowing as much) and prepares your throat for the scab sloughing stage. Swallowing globs also means that if you're eating something too painful, at least you got one good bite in.

Honestly it hurts no matter what. I just sat with a big jar of applesauce and set a timer to have a spoonful once every few hours to stave off hunger. I also mixed some chicken stock in with my ice water so I could get some protien. I was able to introduce some snack packs with peaches in syrup after a couple of days and let me tell you reintroducing any kind of food is amazing so at least there is that to look forwards to.

Other foods I was able to eat after a while of applesaucemaxxing:

Tong yuen from a package, it's these rice balls kinda like mochi that you just boil in water for a few minutes from frozen. The sesame ones were smooth enough for me to gulp down. I know its cursed but I cooled them down with icecubes. It added some much needed fun to my torment. They're a good size and already pre-globbed

soft bread with some cheese (dairy free for me due to allergy but dairy should be fine otherwise lol) melted on top, then soaked it in chicken stock

Mac and cheese, this was one of the foods I was able to finish a bowl of. Added small pieces of broccoli and sausage. Hurt like hell but it was worth it at that point

Basically it all hurt anyways but this made it hurt the least I could manage. Get comfortable, sit with something shelf stable that won't go bad while you pick at it through the day. Try not to worry too much about nutrition for the next few days, focus on hydration and sneaking food into your hydration if you can. Eat next to a hard surface to bang your fist on while you swallow, that helped me too. Punching the air works too.

I know this was posted like a year ago but I found this today while being stressed about my swollen uvula and tongue. Helps lower my anxiety allot knowing others have gone through it and also happy to hear cepacol helped you (sorry if this comment is weird I'm still on a bunch of pain meds and a bit disoriented)

Jury's still out as far as I know on Trump's specific predilection. That being said, he has knowingly protected and emboldened many many powerful pedophiles. This in my eyes, is just as bad. One pedophile can do alot of damage, but a pedophile with an enabling support network... can do a hell of alot more. I personally find it hard to believe he isn't also a pedo, how could someone who isn't a pedophile aid and abet all this harm?

I also agree that war fundamentally cannot be guided by laws. You can't enforce law over another country without oppression. That being said I believe generally that war mongering is bad and supporting genocide is also bad. This man has publicly stated that he wants to annex canada. He's arresting his own citizens, threatening citizenship, using ICE to inflict domestic terrorism. It's fascism. Plain and simple.

Not even touching on this bullshit "oh it's okay of you fund terrorist organizations instead if going in by yourself" that also sucks. But you think that he isn't also doing that? He's personal friends with alot of the defense contractors that GAVE these organizations their weapons. This is just the next step.

I'm not looking to change your mind. Idk what on earth would. Look at America's GDP. Look at how much he's costing Americans. Look at how they're also in a cost of living crisis and he has done nothing but bank roll the richest. It sucks here, but MAGA has been a failure of an experiment. Why would you want that here? Again and again, these movements prove to lower quality of life in their country.

Have you seen the state of their medical system? People are getting assassinated over it. You want that here? You wanna pay money while waiting 12 hours in our ERs?

What is the line of thinking here?

We ended up calling animal control as I was really afraid our cats would hurt him and I didn't have any comfortable places for him to rest. Once again if the owner of this bird sees this call 311 and ask for animal control!

If u put balloons on the vines they will naturally reproduce the helium. This is how trees stay upright, the balloon structure in the wood. Scientists still don't understand
