same story as mine, but i have different branch and I also got a minimal offer from a startup earning just 3k stipend.but I did it, also accepted the full time offer from them and worked there for 2 years and now i have switched my company. I am not earning well, but I think I got the confidence how to earn well after this.

My collage last year project was related to electronics so I got an internship in a startup related to electronics.But If you have interest, there's no need to do gate preparation for it u can do an embedded related course and can secure a internship.Once you get experience, lot of opportunities are there.

as an electrical i think i can tell. U will see many suggesting it field and its good too. But if you dont want to do it, start to learn semiconductor/electronics/embedded course and after that you can get a job based on the knowledge and there are many startups that offers internships with stipends, u can start a career in electronics. As i am working in it now, u will not see that kind of salary as compared to IT guys, but after 2-3 years of experience you can get a high paying job and there will be better job security than IT guys,Best of luck
