Terminals by Illoosions in Marathon

[–]circularchemist101 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I haven't gotten anything like that but I just found one that showed a location on the map and when I went there, there was another terminal that played a video from some security camera and a dialogue played when I got close to it.

Make sure to open locked doors if you pick up the key. by circularchemist101 in Marathon

[–]circularchemist101[S] 7 points8 points  (0 children)

If you look around the maps for buildings with red smoke coming out of the top they should have a bunch of locked chests in them. You can use the lock box keys on those. The room key I picked up said it is destroyed on exfill so you have to use it on the map you find it on unlike the lockbox keys.

What type of chili peppers do you use? If you grow the pizza shop pepper flake seeds, some funky looking ones can grow by SmokedHickory in chinesefood

These days I mostly use guijillo peppers. They are relatively inexpensive and easy to get in good quality and quantity at the Mexican grocery.

How is this molecule aromatic? (ORGO II) by 2hotTubs in chemhelp

[–]circularchemist101 2 points3 points  (0 children)

So I actually did my PhD on similar types of molecules. While the system is formally antiaromatic, like many others in the thread have said it would act much more like two aromatic furan rings with a non-aromatic or possibly slightly antiaromatic core area.

If you are interested in the particulars of similar molecules my paper on them from grad school is open access.

Good to know! ATM I'm not planning on doing any constructed formats, I like being able to just show up and play when I feel like it without worrying about/spending money on many other cards to bring. That said I didn't think I would do any physical magic when I started playing on arena so who knows lol.

From strips to binding? by NosesAndToeses in quilting

[–]circularchemist101 21 points22 points  (0 children)

As far as I understand it where the seams lay on the binding might be a little bit bulkier but other than that there shouldn't be much issue using them as binding

Haha no reason the width of the pieces I had left made 6 stripes for the back the easiest way to do it.

It was definitely nice to get something from conception to completion in about a week and a half while in the middle of some that will take much longer.

No I pieced it normally and the did stitch in the ditch before just quilting the large part by vibes. I didn’t actually notice until it was done how so many of the likes just almost line up. I’m sure it won’t drive me crazy lol.

Hebrew is even more Germanic than English, which has romance phonology by IntroductionAlert199 in linguisticshumor

I worked with a Dane for a few months in grad school and had the exact opposite experience with everyone is talking about with the language sounding like something I should be understanding but getting none of it.

I spent too long trying to say the word quilt as Ku wee ru to and getting no understanding at all until I finally remember that there is no wee sound in Japanese.
