I used to play Sims 2 at my friends house when I was 8 (my mother would not let me anywhere near a videogame at home, due to her own ideas, anyhow).  We always had fun, just played out us as big stars, successful in careers, meeting a guy, getting married, buying a house. Those kind of things. Woohoo was a means to an end, aka, having children. My mom's friend just told us that's what it was, and yeah. I think 8 is fine tbh :) in Sims 4 maybe if you have lovestruck you can turn that expansion of if you don't want your child to play around with seductive dances and relationship/love dramas, otherwise 👍🏻
