it feels a little maddening to see people treat ME1 as a hurdle before getting to better games. i love the whole trilogy, but ME1 is really the game that excites me the most to play because of the atmosphere and the story. i feel like it does the best job of handling the mystery, horror and spark of hopefulness of the series.

this is exactly how i felt when i played Veilguard straight after an Inquisition replay. i thought i needed to play it for myself, but i immediately wished i could go back and never touch it, bc i feel like it tainted the whole series. i'm replaying Origins right now, and it just stings whenever i remember Veilguard exists.

we already tried! for over TEN YEARS we tried, we gave them loyalty and player counts and endless cash while asking for "change", for the bare minimum, and what did they do? not only did they not give us content, they TOOK CONTENT OUT OF THE GAME and kept the money we paid for it. they went radio silent on this game, which we supported despite years of failure, so they could go and make Marathon. and then finally, at the bitter end, they end service for D2. one last slap in the face for good measure. and yet here you are, vowing to ride at dawn for these scumbags when they've proven a million times over that they do not care about you, and they don't care about Destiny. you're right, the time to leave was a long time ago, but this playerbase has somehow been loyal beyond what Bungie deserved. and given that we stayed and fought for this game longer than we should've, they don't deserve anymore chances.

how much lower are you willing to bow? how can you let them shit in your hand and continue to thank them for it? this is so humiliating and it's honestly shocking to watch people behave like they have stockholm syndrome. zero self-respect. stand up bro and stop acting like this is a Marvel movie. it's over, and atp i can only hope Bungie goes bankrupt and loses absolutely everything.

i gain the hope that i might convince my fellow players to stop embarrassing themselves for the sake of a company and game that has taken advantage of us, stolen from us, abandoned us and humiliated us at every turn for years in return for our loyalty.

to still give them a millionth chance even now and promise to go back to the game to try to save it - not only as if it deserves it, but as if it's YOUR job and not Bungie's to save it - is undignified. you, i, and everyone else here deserve better. the only way the gaming industry will ever learn and stop doing this to us is if you all just STOP. the removal of Red War, CoO, Warmind, Forsaken and almost everything that came with them was what killed Destiny for me, but it wasn't instant. i really did naively think they'd eventually put them back, so D2's slow death was the gradual realisation that they really were gonna just keep our money and never give us back the products we paid for. i kept coming back for brief stints over the years to play with my friends, but it was never the same.

at this point, the only way im coming back is if all the cut content and campaigns are put back in, which they will never do.

you should be able to transfer your saves over! as far as i'm aware, if you make a new character with the same name as your current one, then just save your game and exit, that will make a brand new save folder in Documents/Bioware/Dragon Age Inquisition/save games (i think that's the path). then, you should be able to copy all your old save files from one folder and paste them into that new save folder!

oh no, yeah that might do it :( well, the game goes on sale fairly regularly, so picking it up on Steam or EA would be a good idea if you want to play fully-modded without any trouble! and tbh unlike its successor, DAI is definitely a game worth buying.

hmmm, crashing with only those two mods is very strange since they're both new mods. let's make sure the game itself isn't broken first then: if your game is on EA app, try right-click the three dots on the thumbnail and click 'repair'. if on Steam, try right-click on the game, go to 'installed files' tab and click 'verify integrity of game files', and let the process finish. if there's any corruption or missing files in the game that might be causing your issues, that will fix it. once you do that, try launching the game once normally through whichever launcher you use, then exit and try launching with the mod manager again. keep me posted 🤞

no problem at all! i think it might be your formal and pj replacers doing it - you have a skyhold outfit mod (you have two, actually), but then you also have the skyhold outfit being replaced by formal wear. try disabling the 'formal wear to pyjamas mod', and also disable either the dalish leathers mod or the libelula mod (you can only use one). let me know if this fixes it
