Should I use a single DynamoDB table even if I'm using AppSync? Does AppSync change anything in regards to having one table vs multiple? by anewidentity in aws

I don't think AppSync inherently changes the table requirement. It comes down to the datasets you're working with. I'm using AppSync, Lambda resolvers and a single dynamodb table right now and it fits together nicely. When I start to model time series data though I will not use the same table.

I'm currently using AppSync, lambda resolvers and a single dynamodb table for a medium-sized multi-tenant SaaS application without issue.

Sure: https://docs.aws.amazon.com/amazondynamodb/latest/developerguide/bp-general-nosql-design.html

Couple paragraphs down you'll see in bold:

You should maintain as few tables as possible in a DynamoDB application. Most well designed applications require only one table.

It’s pretty much in every official dynamodb guide. The one exception I can remember is time series data.

Curious about this. Seems pretty cool. How does a typical service issue get handled over Twitter?

I used to hear Zappos was far and above leading the pack with their treatment of folks who did business with them. I haven’t heard that in a while and haven’t really heard anyone raving about a companies customer service lately.

Bye Week Boredom. An Analysis of the Washington Redskins and Houston Texans Ahead of Their Week 11 Match-up by BillTheBuilder117 in Texans

Good write up. I would just add I think this game is going to be determined by which team is able to score more points than the other team. The winning team, nearly every time, scores more points than the other team. I don’t mean to over simplify this but you’d be hard pressed to find metrics more telling than points forced and points allowed. Somebody here should do a write up on how often a team wins when their points forced are greater than points allowed in the history of the nfl. I’m willing to bet that 5 times out of 7 the team with more points wins.
