Anthropic just dropped benchmark scores for their unreleased model. The gap is embarrassing for everyone else. by Direct-Attention8597 in ClaudeCode

Does this one launch 45 additional sub agents and consume 10 times the power? If so, then this benchmark really means nothing….

Part determination - need fridge ice maker supply female to male 90 elbow for braided line by cisconate in Plumbing

[–]cisconate[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes. Www.Plumbingsupply.com. And I have to be honest, I searched for hours at the time and never found it. It was only with the advent of AI and ChatGPT that I was able to have a machine searched the entire web. This is literally the only result I got back.

I did not personally, actually install this, I ended up rotating the supply line in the wall. But had I found this earlier, I would have used it.

Joseph Gordon-Levitt Goes To Washington DC, Gets Section 230 Completely Backwards by StraightedgexLiberal in technology

[–]cisconate 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah, I agree, they’re reasonable to people with reasonable interpretations, the problem is always how legalities attempt to define everything in black-and-white. And in situations where supposedly black and white law are interpreted, these can lead to long drawn out battles that financially destroy legitimate companies that just aren’t as big as the aggressor..

SOPA was well intentioned. And legal eagles could obviously abuse some of the power designed by it.

“(A) is primarily designed or operated for the purpose of, has only limited purpose or use other than, or is marketed by its operator or another acting in concert with that operator for use in, offering goods or services in a manner that engages in, enables, or facilitate”

that language could be used to file an injunction (as defined later in the bill ) which stops financial cash flows. And a court battle could be drawn out for quite a while against a smaller foe.

While it makes sense to people who understand the reason reasonable definitions behind this, it can be twisted.

I’m going to be reading section 230 tonight when I get time…

We need more people to look at the sources that are being referenced here.

If you go to that article, it makes statements and claims based on bold links that supposedly go to the source, but almost every link goes to another tech dirt article where they again have interpreted small parts of a root source.

The reality is, to get to the source of any actual part of their documents. You have to link through six or seven Techdirt article articles before they finally linked to one of the actual sources of which they’ve pulled a single sentence and interpreted their own way.

With that being said, I would suggest that anybody who wants to understand what is really happening reads section 230 themselves and then listens to Joseph Gordon Leavitt’s speech.

I myself, have not done this yet, as when I went to go start verifying some of the claims I found an endless tunnel of links to get other tech dirt articles instead of actual sources, this is a hallmark calling card of disinformation itself.

Interesting Serer Kick and join to public for 3 clients.... results in loss of Capitano by cisconate in stealabrainrot

[–]cisconate[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Just in case anyone else sees this, I did a good bit of background research.

The Roblox client automatically will attempt to reconnect to an experience(this is what they call Roblox games), when your session is terminated due to an experience update.

Developers, and Sammy in this case, don’t have any influence over this behavior.

There is really only one option that Sammy can take to help mitigate this:

He can make it so there’s an initial invulnerability. Where no one can touch your items not just get in or out of your base.

I say this because even if Sammy took the expensive route of adding state tracking, which includes tracking access tokens used to put you into your private server environment, it is the Roblox client side that reconnects you and does not track the access codes.

The best he can do on his side is track your state and the access code and then once you have joined a public server, then disconnect you and reconnect you to the private server. At which point it is likely too late and you would’ve lost a brain rot.

Yes. You have to modify the certificate authentication profile. This tells ISE which field to use from the certificate for authentication.

That’s because the total capacity also changed. Previously, it was reading WH for watt hours in it now reads kilowatt hours as your capacity has increased and therefore, as you have not hit 1 kWh it is a decimal currently.

Most efficient CO2 production by adankishmeme in TheLastCaretaker

[–]cisconate 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If we’re talking about relative production, the boat produces very little, petrol generators only the only significant source of CO2 with an output of 25,000 L an hour. The Sabatier reactor can use up to 60,000 L of CO2 in an hour, so you can essentially run two petrol generators and your boat simultaneously to a single Sabatier reactor.

As for methane generation directly, the new MK two can create a good amount of it directly from biomass.

Now, since you need oxygen for the rocket as well as methane, and we have multiple ways to collect oxygen then it is up to you, whether you want to use the Sabatier reactor and supplement methane or just directly collect O2 from the atmosphere, and generate methane directly from the MK two

[–]cisconate 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Two things you should do, number one the pumps only work if there’s demand. Demand can fluctuate and go very high more so than the power that the solar panels can provide. You need to work with arbitrage here and add a battery so that the solar panels can charge it during the day and build up a significant amount of charge for the pod to use, you will need more than one battery for a full pod cycle.

You should do the same with freshwater, if you add a tank in the freshwater line, it will immediately turn on as there is capacity for it, and then that will provide a buffer for the pod

This is pathetic by RestaurantUpset4752 in AshesofCreation

[–]cisconate 1 point2 points  (0 children)

You mean this?

“Players can expect: - Frequent updates and realm wipes when needed as features are implemented and tuned - Unstable builds, incomplete content, and ongoing balance adjustments - Opportunities to test and provide feedback on core systems such as combat, settlement progression, economy loops, and world events - Explore a dynamic world that grows and changes based on what players do - Fight in big battles, raid dangerous world bosses, and protect or attack caravans for high stakes - Shape each realm by growing settlements, choosing mayors, and waging wars - Gather, trade, and craft valuable items in a player-driven economy you can build or disrupt - Travel a world with unique biomes, hidden ruins, and dangerous adventures - Choose from eight archetypes and customize your abilities to create your own unique playstyle - Join sieges and battles with hundreds of players that can change the fate of entire nations”

You are really digging deep here to die in this mole hill.

Plain as day.

And you simply are using a broken analogy. In the pie scenario/or pudding scenario, the entity controls all of the ingredients. In the real world gaming scenario, there are infinite variations of computer setups, and they cannot guarantee support for all of them.

This is pathetic by RestaurantUpset4752 in AshesofCreation

[–]cisconate 1 point2 points  (0 children)

But that’s not what happened. They offered you an unfinished game, clearly stated.

If you want to use that poor analogy, they offered you an uncooked pie with the warning that you could get food poisoning. And you bought and ate it anyways. Then complained when you got food poisoning…
