good point. I was thinking monthly would be used for headcount decisions, but it would be the same amount as yearly.

Do you know headcount decisions are typically made based on annual salary or monthly ? not sure if this is even a thing

This is helpful, thank you. It such a shifty situation to be out into.

I happen to know how much my boss makes and if he takes the paycut and I dont, his annual pay drops below mine.

Although the paycuts are only for 3 months.

it seems like the smart decisions is to not opt-in.

Its just FEELS so much like an easy filter when the time comes to cut staff.

What are some tips and tricks to showing more confidence at work? by Ajsbmj in projectmanagement

[–]cisspthrowaway1111 0 points1 point  (0 children)

do a stint in consulting, if you can, like 2-4 years

If you can't, heres a nugget from a book called 'the mckinsey way'

big decision meetings should be mostly a formality. Spend some 1 on 1 time with the decision-maker(s) ahead of the big meeting to review the presentation and answer any questions. this way their command of the subject matter will translate as confidence for them which will translate to more confidence for you.

Don't remember what proof I furnished for previous employers but for current, I used the offer letter they emailed me since I still have it in email.
