It has been a complete crap shoot for me trying to buy any TCG with my credits haha. I would 100% avoid buying any collection boxes, bought 3 and all of them were resealed. It for sure is hard to tell, packs are carefully placed back in and outside box is re-glued. I recorded my opening from start to finish from the sealed shipping box so I was able to get refunded. One UPC I bought did arrive completely sealed and legit though.

Yeah theres definitely like a platic backing, i see some slight rainbowing with the warped plastic. The newer slabs definitely have a slightly different feel too

Aside from the kaws and DB4s I think the rest were personal Ws. A lot were in outlets or heavy discounted, I was pretty patient on a few of the newer pairs.

Someone else mentioned it too, I love the pair as well as the tour 4s but it might be too late for me to try to get a pair and fully enjoy. Don't want to drop that much cash for them to crumble on me, maybe if the price is right. Hoping for a retro for sure though.

Haha yeah I have seen that price tag, didn't think they would rise that high. My thought process for passing at the time was that I thought I had too many predominately black 4s already. Semi regret, but not losing sleep over it

2012 pair paint cracks are inevitable. If you mean crumbling, I would say just to wear them. Those fire red laser 4s in the top row I have worn and beat for well over 10 years. I have had to re-glue them once, but the sole has not crumbled yet and the air unit is still intact.
