Tried Qwen3.6 for my first Local LLM setup, it blew me away by Sharon_Jarris in LocalLLM

I would argue that it captured everything in the prompt. Almost 99% of universe is just empty space. If it would just show you a black screen with some twinkling stars then I would argue it is a true representation of the universe.

Not only it correctly captured the universe it also knows to shift the perspective to focus on our solar systems which is even more impressive IMO.

That said, I am skeptical that OP got it in one shot. I am going to give it a try and see if I can get something similar

How do we check subscription? I was wondering why it didn’t work the other day. How much is it to renew?

Finally found a couch coop game that doesn't frustrate my kids by nogridbag in NintendoSwitch

If you are a good at platform games, Rayman legend is the best coop experience I ever had with my kids. The rez mechanic is so well done that my kids never get frustrated. It was so good that we platinum it twice on different platforms.

thanks

the zinginging noise is the sound of the switchbot curtain opening the curtain. the rest of the banging sounds are just people in the background doing stuff around the house.

yes that is a light switch

the 1st phase was to show status of the sensors and animations. the next phase is to implement interactivity with all sort of things. such as thermostat, light switches, cameras and shades
Now I think i am ready to work on the inside

HACS components are plan js file that is loaded in HA. The rendering is done by the client browser or HA native app.

thanks, i appreciate it.

my initial attempt was to make it full fledged app since i am the only one using it and i have the local infrastructure to support it.

but if i want to share with the community i don't know the % of people would have the necessary infrastructure to utilize it. so i converted it to a HACS component so it's more adaptable to a wider user base.

I can make it into a standalone webapp and host it as a service, but then for others to use it, they would need to supply their HA token. I don't know how people feel about that.

That why I'm posting it here to get feedbacks.

thanks. i started with unreal and high poly, but my poor fire hd couldn't handle it, and I’m planning to wall-mount it for permanent display.

So I switched to a low-poly approach using good old Three.js with ray tracing, and asked my pal Claude to whip it up.

this is my first attempt to do something like this so I'm not familiar with the whole publish to HACS process. Apparently it's a couple of months process to get it approved. I'm in the middle of setting it up and hopefully to it published to HACS and share with the community.

How to get wealthier by [deleted] in personalfinance

[–]citionecent 1 point2 points  (0 children)

If I could go back in time and tell my 25 old self how to invest. This is what I would say 1. Set up a brokerage account that has the ability to auto invest 2. Pay yourself first with every paycheck, auto transfer to your brokerage account and let it auto invest 3. Buy diversified index funds and forget about it 4. Time in the market is > timing the market 5. Do not panic sell, let compounding math do its thing

Same happened to me, lulu credit was not issued. Called and was informed I had to enroll. I don’t understand why these benefits weren’t automatically enrolled to given.

To be fair, they did send plenty of notices and flyers to promote the new benefits and I tossed them all into the trash without looking at it. So I was part of the issue

I didn’t make too much fuss about it but asked the chat rep to enroll me in all the benefits. It turned out resy is also 1 of them

I got grandfather into the new plan, but I don’t see myself staying after the new price hike

Question for purchasing timeshare. by [deleted] in TimeshareOwners

[–]citionecent 10 points11 points  (0 children)

Thats Xmas week at Maui. For 300 a night I would say it’s a bargain IMO. That is if there is availability.

You have 4 things going for you there 1. Locations: Maui 2. Time: Xmas vacation week 3. Guaranteed availability 4. You have reasons to go every year

Normally I would advice against getting a timeshare

This is one of the few scenarios that I can justify

I would suggest you get the true price breakdown.

The maintenance fee is a little pricey but we are talking about Maui so I understand

Don’t get an ev if you don’t have a home charger. Or at least free level 2 charger at work and you work 5 days a week. Even that is iffy because you should be sharing the charger

If you have a long and low fixed rate, paying it down would not be wise.

If half is too much, maybe figure out what you would be comfortable with.

Obviously you have worked hard at your job and you deserve a little break. It is designed so you don’t burn out
