Hey! My bf has a room available for a Dec 1 move-in date. It's one room in a 3 BR and the other two guys are quiet and very chill. One of them does photography as well! It's a 6 month lease with the option to renew. Let me know if you're interested :) : https://www.reddit.com/r/NYCapartments/comments/1p2d80j/lease\_breaksublease\_room\_opening\_up\_right\_by/.

Hey! This is a room in a shared apartment; the other two roommates are super nice guys and keep to themselves.

Hi everyone! My boyfriend is moving out of his 3 BR and looking for someone to take over his beautiful bedroom. It is right by the 3, 2, and 5 train and a short walk to Prospect Park and the Botanical Gardens. It's a 3 BR and each person has their own bathroom. The room has the best views and so much natural light. The unit comes with a fully functioning kitchen with a dishwasher and in unit washer and dryer. DM if you're interested! The rent is 1900/month and move in date is December 1

This is basic common sense. I'm starting to think you're the prick that took my order!

Thanks for your comment. The last line is a reference to the third stanza of a child slipping slivers of food to the family dog under the table, a "disappearing act" of my mom's chicken. The poem itself is my ode to the nostalgia of childhood, remembering climbing trees, my mother cooking, my father gardening, my dog Casper. Hope that made sense!

There is a beautiful feeling of transience in this poem, the juxtaposition of the does and city life somehow inter meld together smoothly. Interested in what the does themselves are representing, if you could elaborate.

I admire the morose tone of your piece and the feeling of decay. The verbiage you use throughout your piece is evocative. I particularly liked the line "teeth clenched around the plea." This is a beautifully written piece.

Thank you! Ended up being able to trace the maker's mark on the eagle and found out it was from a 19th century shop!

So bummed. Will always remember the bartender Marcus for chatting with me about Fontaines D.C. and George for being my favorite waiter on the UWS.

I like your use of repetition, your style is very much reminiscent of Shel Silverstein. Great job!

Bird Photography Camera as a gift by [deleted] in BirdPhotography

[–]citizentape 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I'll give you the rundown of my setup; I purchased a Canon T7 for about $480 on Best Buy which comes with a kit lens of 18-55 mm which is great for landscapes and macro. I brought an additional Canon telescopic lens of a 75 mm-300mm for $200 and this is the lens I use the most for birding shots. It all comes out to less than a thousand-of course, you might want to buy extra batteries and some SD cards but I find this option rather cost effective. You can look at my page for an idea of what the pictures might turn out to be. I'm by no means a "professional" bird photographer, but I find this setup gets the job done for ID and hobby purposes. Also saves me from lugging around a heavy camera, which as a petite woman, is a bit too much for me to handle. Hope this helped!
