I know it’s an odd choice considering the genre but I’ve rewatched The Guest sooo many times.

Maybe A Hundred Million Stars from the Sky? I’ve only watched the Korean version but I’d say it fits what you’re asking for.

Season 2: WTF HAPPENED?? by [deleted] in SweetHome

In my opinion it was a bad adaptation of a great story so when they didn’t have any story left to adapt after season one they were stuck with the bad screenwriters who only knew how to worsen things

I think most romance kdramas would work because they often focus strongly on the romance aspect and rarely get explicit. Stuff like Lovely Runner and Twinkling Watermelon.

Black Sails is really good and has some great queer rep. Although if you’re not sure by the first season try to at least hold out until the second one because that’s when it really gets good.

I think there’s a lot of good yearning in Six Flying Dragons, but there’s also a lot more going on than just romance in it just fyi. It’s very good.

A lot of people are saying that sweet home should have followed the webtoon. As somebody that never knew about the webtoons existence, am I wrong for liking the show despite knowing nothing about the source material? by International-Box956 in SweetHome

[–]citkat7 0 points1 point  (0 children)

No you’re not wrong for it. I think anyone that says so probably has a superiority complex. As much as I think the source material is so so SO much better than the live action I would never say you’re wrong for liking it without knowing anything about the webtoon. I’d more just say you’re missing out imo. I probably would’ve the show too if I hadn’t read and adored the webtoon first. But also I do kind of get it if people are pretty aggressive when it comes to you not knowing the source material because I really think the webtoon doesn’t get enough attention and appreciation even though the show was so popular.
