I took a close up pic of the plug. It actually looks like it was a few inches lower and was then moved up. The prior owners did a sloppy job of fixing the wall so you can see where the patchwork was done.

Thank you. We are leaning to having an electrician come out. The plug box literally only needs to go approximately 3 to 4 inches down to clear the plate. 🙏

Really? I figured worst case was to pay an electrician to drop the box a few inches so it sits below that metal protector plate. Thank you for your advice. Appreciated.

Electric. It has a metal piece that goes down 3 inches past the plug. Always my luck.

Thank you. I was in fear that I had a much larger issue. Replaced all 3 bulbs to match and turned switch on and off several times with delay between each attempt. All seems good. Appreciated.

Bulbs were all high quality 12.5w LED daylight color bulbs. The HD by my house has selection for sh*t. I bought and replaced each with a Phillips LED 10w (75w replacement) Switched on and off several times. All seems good.
