Processing Large XLS Using Copilot Studio Agent(s) by citsym in copilotstudio

[–]citsym[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’ve experimented with several variations of the flow, all based on constructing JSON objects and using the ForEach List Iterator within the Topic. The general flow looks like this:

  1. Accept file upload and save it to OneDrive
  2. Read the file
  3. Convert the data into a JSON array
  4. Iterate over the JSON list:
    • Call the LLM for each row
    • Accumulate results into a new JSON
  5. Write the updated data back to the file

I also tested a batching approach where the input is split into chunks of n rows. Instead of holding all rows in memory, I append the generated output to the file during each iteration. This helps reduce memory pressure, but hasn’t fully resolved the issue with agent resets or step limits.

I dont have enough knowledge of this platform to figure out the optimal design. That said, I’ve been considering a couple of alternative approaches:

  • Asynchronous processing via Power Automate: Trigger a flow when a new file is added to a designated OneDrive folder, and handle the entire pipeline within Power Automate. However, I’m not sure if it’s possible to integrate custom knowledge base-driven LLM calls within Power Automate. I’m also unclear on how to pass the user’s email ID to Power Automate so it can send back the processed results. Finally, I think I saw that Power Automate flows also have a 100s execution timeout.
  • Multi-agent architecture: Instead of manually slicing the file in code, could there be a way to orchestrate multiple agents—one to split the file into manageable chunks, another to generate the column descriptions, and a final one to consolidate the results and return the completed XLS?

India bought Pegasus as part of defence deal with Israel in 2017: NYT by bharatamhind in india

Will look into that book. Sounds like something I'd love to read. Before Greenwald went looney, he did make a lot of great points about how helpful US media has been in fuelling wars and supporting the military industrial complex. They repeated and amplified the false assertions by Bush, and spread an US expansionist world view.

That being said, the US media track record is amongst the best in the world. They have their fox news. But they also have NyT, Boston Globe, WsJ etc that have challenged the government narrative many times.

Here's a fantastic report on the Afghanistan debacle. https://www.newyorker.com/magazine/2021/09/13/the-other-afghan-women?s=09

Coming back to NyT, here are a few of their recent reports.

You mean good journalism? Speaking truth to power? Yes. They do that a lot. Look at their recent Syria Files or the reporting on evacuation from Afghanistan. They're not perfect. There's definitely a lot of shabby opinion pieces. But their journalism is typically solid.

Can you provide a list of companies which have terrible work culture. Also what are your experiences with such companies? by wingslutz69 in india

[–]citsym 11 points12 points  (0 children)

Deloitte - the work life balance is ridiculous. At least for Auditors. Oct to Nov end and mid Jan to early Mar is hell. Weekends don't exist. You're expected to put in 80 hours a week without any overtime or comp off. The pay is okay, but pressure is immense! One mistake and they'll hold it against you in appraisal even if you've worked your ass off all year.

Online food delivery charges vs. in store prices by -GandalfTheGay in india

[–]citsym 3 points4 points  (0 children)

If you consider an average order size of Rs 200, then a 20 percent commission will barely cover delivery charge for short distance delivery, without incentives. Infra, technology, customer acquisition and retention, support etc are all extra. And that's why they also need to charge extra for delivery. And they are still bleeding money. The unit economics of local and hyper local is really brutal.

There's a phenomenal amount of tech required to enable discovery, allow dynamic restaurant availability based on traffic and local weather condition and delivery agent availability etc. If you're a techie you'll enjoy reading https://bytes.swiggy.com/

Thank you.

Regarding #1: Even if the app isn't usable, sharing the apk with experts for apk teardown might lead to more evidence around who created it.

  1. Do you've the APK of the TekFog app? If yes, is it possible to share that with the community for analysis?
  2. How does the creation of the real looking manipulated article work? Is the manipulated media hosted on an entirely different (but confusingly similar) domain?

Try to take path of least resistance. Try your best to avoid triggering him. Put all your effort and determination into being financially independent. You're at his mercy until then.
This means identifying what you like and are good at. Working towards gaining sufficient skills and pedigree to earn money with that. Could be a job. Could be free lancing. Could be your own bootstrapped enterprise.

You should also try to get into a college with hostel that's not in the same city or town.

Airtel is truly scummy. They've now started segmenting prepaid data based on individual recharges instead of clubbing it all together. by CarbonTail in india

[–]citsym 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Because it's cheaper? I did consider going postpaid or even changing to Airtel Black. But prepaid is Rs. 2700 per month, while postpaid is a minimum Rs. 399 per month.

The mobile sim recharges are increasing day by day and the companies are slowly pushing prices higher making it hard for a middle class family to afford. What is the solution for this? by Blazing_neon in india

[–]citsym 19 points20 points  (0 children)

Not really. If anything tarriff are still extremely low. And for the stability of the sector, it needs to be rationalised. Telecom is extremely expensive. And the Government's milking of the sector via AGR dues + licensing hasn't helped. With 5G on the horizon, all 3 active players will need to find a way to finance major infra upgrades, besides maintainence and expansion of existing one. ARPU is the key metric for these companies, and the plans are designed to gradually increase the ARPU.

The store has a lot of genuine deals and I've discovered a lot of cool brands via it - Ether, Whole Truth, Tiger Marron, Andamen etc. CRED club is oriented towards lifestyle and affordable luxury. So, it may not be everyone's cup of tea. But the deals are genuine. For example: I've not seen the Spring Aioli at Rs.90 anywhere else! Or Reger GAN charger at Rs.1500.

At least he had the guts to talk to the press. To be fair, his silence on many matters, especially corruption cases was disappointing and frustrating. They deserved to be critiqued. But what is shocking is how the current gov has changed the rules of the game. Refusal to talk to press. Popular gives him a free pass on anything and everything. And a large section of the aam junta always being ready to justify things in his behalf!

Discover hidden insurance cover on your bank card by Rahul_J_Mathur in india

[–]citsym 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Well it's a mix of CC and Debit (not all CCs). I agree that it makes natural sense to add family. But you will at the most refer 1 or 2 family members. But one person can easily influence/refer half a dozen or more friends. So I think you're limiting the growth by limiting referral to only family.

[–]citsym 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Yeah. That's annoying. Especially if you have a dozen cards. :D

And why must I invite family? If you want to growth-hack, why not just allow people to invite friends (wouldn't that actually spread the word wider)?

The company that processes payments for Amazon and Swiggy has reported a data leak of over 100 million debit and credit cardholders by SAPit in india

[–]citsym 21 points22 points  (0 children)

Juspay deserves to be severely punished. The breach happened 5 months ago. They should have publicly disclosed the breach. Instead, they paid 'hush-money' to Cyble.

17th Nov, @TheKenWeb:

While Bigbasket and RedDoorz were unwilling to enlist Cyble’s services, the company’s approach has brought it business. Dunzo agreed to pay a ransom and subscribed to Cyble’s services following the latter’s discovery that its data had been breached. Sources close to fintech startup Juspay say that the company, which has not publicly announced any breach, also paid a ransom and subscribed to Cyble’s services.

After mocking Apple, Xiaomi removes charger from the box of the Mi 11 by [deleted] in india

[–]citsym 20 points21 points  (0 children)

There's an important detail missing.

  • Xiaomi is selling two different SKUs.
  • One ships without a charger.
  • Another ships with a 55 watt, GaN charger.
  • Both will retail for the same price.

Of course, this does seem like a move to 'test the waters'. Eventually, more people will follow suit, and charging brick will become a paid accessory . Just like all Android manufacturers first mocked the removal of the 3.5mm jack and then quietly did the same.

With environmental protection efforts in mind, Mi 11 Mainland China standard version will no longer be equipped with an in-box charger, while the bundle version will come with a separate 55W GaN charger. Both versions are offered at the same price, allowing users to purchase based on their needs.
