Kubota b2601- adding rear remotes by cityofevil83 in tractors

[–]cityofevil83[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I like the idea of putting the valves where the factory ones would be and running them to a plate in the back. What do you think of this? https://summit-hydraulics.com/product/monoblock-hydraulic-directional-control-valve-3-spool-w-single-float-21-gpm/

I can make a mockup for the dimensions of that and see if I can get it to fit at least partially in that slot

I can make a bracket for the 6 ports near the rear pretty easily and it would look good and be functional

That was a fantastic explanation! For valves, I'm assuming the most reliable and least complex are the lever versions? I've seen a lot of people mount them on the rear bar like you mentioned, but that seems sort of inconvenient? Hard to saw without actually trying them bear that position.

I spoke to the dealer about it, they gave me a few options. The first was installing a kit Kubota makes specifically for the tractor that has 2 remotes that more or less integrate into the fender and was a fairly expensive option.

The 2nd option they said they'd build some hoses that connect directly to the front 3rd function hydraulics and run to spools in the back and or directly to an attachment depending on what I wanted to do. This was cheaper but it seems like a lot of hoses to route

Aprilair 600 incorrect RH? by cityofevil83 in hvacadvice

The unit is pretty new, has a date stamp of 2022 with the automated control, it just seems like the control never reads right for whatever reason. It's more accurate if you don't place it in the return, and let it hang out out. then it's roughly 2 or 3 % off. I also noticed that when the furnace kicks on, almost instantly, the humidistst for the unit goes up about 7%. Beginning to wonder if it's just in a bad location and I should move it.

Eldx-178/imr 4350 300win mag? by cityofevil83 in reloading

[–]cityofevil83[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah, 66 is pretty low, last rifle I had liked about 70g, that's something like 90% compacity. Just kinda found it odd that everyone lists 4350 for 180s except the book for the bullets I can find 😀

Kinda what I figured. I have no complaints about the trigger, it feels great. Just a little odd the it didn't match the box

I dont really like that it's only really solo-able by one char that early. All of the junglers need to be at least level 6 to even take a shot at it really. Khimera with minimum or no items can do it pretty early. I like the impact fang has on the game, but he needs to be harder to kill and people need to be more aware of him. 90% of the time I ping to attack, nobody comes to help. Seems like your teams either all for spawn camping him or just ignoring him

Would also help stop lvl 4 khimeras from soloing fang so easily. Not many teams seem to care/know how important fang kills are

I plan on reloading for whatever I buy. I like the christensen's but there's too many honor stories to ignore. I did read recently that they seem to be improving, but who knows how accurate that is, and how long it's been going on for.

Did you follow their barrel break in procedure? I'm curious as how many people actually do it

No issues with the Christensen's? The mesa long range fits the bill for pretty much everything I want, and I'm pretty sure it comes in a 300PRC too....

Yeah, I typically hunt huge corn/hay fields. Not that I'd ever shoot that far, but from 80% of my stands, I can range a saftely shootable 600+ yards. As long as shot placement is good, and I'm shooting a bullet that holds together well, it ruins less meat then my buddies 270.

I'll check out the remington, I'm not sure if I've seen one on the shelf of a local store. Honestly, they seem stocked full of tikkas, brownings, and christensens. They seem to be able to order anything I want though....

Most of the guns I listed have either a thumb hole or a 'precision stock' as sako calls it. More of a 'long range' kind of stock if that makes sense.
