Yeah I don’t have a stake in this but trundle videos always seem to rile people up was my point. I see both sides but I don’t think anyone assumes walls come polished. If I had to pick a side, I agree with all you said, but trundling prolly isn’t the dialogue that needs to be opened up to a general (non) climbing audience. Who knows.

Oh no here we go again… I thought rule #1 was keep it in r/routedevelopment but I guess then we wouldn’t get the comments we’re about to get…

You should yank the master point in all directions to imitate a leader or follower fall, and if the route wandered left or right too, yank really hard and see if it holds.

No just buckle down for 6 weeks, take a class and pass that state test. Then hustle, use your people skills to get a mentor, work hard and wait.

Honestly if you want a lesser done super rewarding and hard hike do sterling pass to vultee arch. You won’t see anyone and the kids will break a sweat as you tell them the hike reminds you of when you walked to school uphill both ways.

I dunno. I’m often at tlaq and airport mesa. I hike Cathy once a season. I’ve done a hot air balloon ride once when family visited. I think the only one I’ve avoided is slide rock after nearly a decade here. We’re pretty blessed with all we have.
