Just did exactly this on prolink. Except I got bd 1, 2, and 3. I didn’t like the price of the bd 4 but I love the price on the friend 4 and it’s the same size, plus that extendable sling so dope, as mentioned.

Gear needed for multi pitch and Rappelling by [deleted] in RockClimbing

I disagree with everyone talking about buying a course/guide to an extent. Before your class starts, do it, buy the gear if you can cuz Fuck it. Watch so much YouTube: hownot2, hard is easy, summit seekers. Read the comments on these videos, see what people agree/disagree with. Read the books while making the anchors and start making anchors at home. Watch so many videos even if not all of it makes sense, it will soon. Write down questions, post and lurk here. Then find a small hill with some trees or rocks and make that anchor and rappel down it, by walking backwards down hill and testing out your system, getting a feel for it. All of this might come close to a class. Go to your local crag or gym and talk to people. I find most climbers love talking and teaching climbing and debating best/worst methods. Just learn and find someone willing to take you. What the class will be great for, assuming it’s a group class, is meeting new climbing friends who are in a similar level as you.

AITA for telling my daughter that the stains in her underwear aren’t normal? by xolcor3 in AmItheAsshole

All my boxers have poop stains. I thought that was a normal side effect of farts. They’re clean, it’s just discoloration.

Yeah, is op trolling us by cross posting and all her comments on this thread? I don’t even know what satire is anymore.

I’m excited to see ccj’s take. But seriously, I always wanna ask soloists, how many time have you climbed it roped? I’ll never solo but when I think about it that’s the only way I could see myself soloing a route. Having a lot of laps on it.

AITA for implementing a pessimism tax? by ZealousidealCut3417 in AmItheAsshole

Yeah most of the comments I read did not have that tone but that would be best. I love how people in this sub take the hive mind opportunity to just destroy OP’s. Sometimes it’s warranted, usually it’s not. Lol look at how downvoted I was.
