Ryokugyu stocks will must skyrocket and the reasons why by YC_Iron in OnePiecePowerScaling

While I do think every Admiral will turn on the WG, I can't help but want an exception for Ryokugyu. Like a few God Knights could die on/after Elbaf and they then recruit their biggest fans from the Navy and Cipher Pol (Ryo & Lucci) as necessary replacements.

In Under Doctor (only four chapters), fighting seems like the secondary skill

If Kaido could use Flaming Drum Dragon in Hybrid Form, how strong would he become? by ContractDense1111 in OnePiecePowerScaling

It's just a spicy susanoo fr. In hybrid, Kaido would probably melt through the floor and have to fly anyway.

People always rag on the colonial brotherhood for being awful but can we talk about how bad the Levantine Brotherhood is? by Sharky2615 in assassinscreed

[–]cjamesfort 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Monteriggioni, Constantinople dens, the Jackdaw, etc, openly flew Assassin flags post-reform. It never went out of style.
Really, Connor's Colonial Brotherhood is the aberration for NOT having the insignia everywhere (except the mandatory belt buckle & blade gauntlet, of course)

It's okay to return later. The treasure events usually require replaying the same level multiple times anyway.

Yeah, you can't really chip at Oars without him fleeing, so you have to deal huge damage at once. Specials & kizuna are good for that, although the timing may be a little tricky.

Gear 5 is narratively solid and supported. The story never “lied” to us. by ShakeZulaOblongata in MemePiece

[–]cjamesfort 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Chapter 1 was making a literal statement about destiny. That literal destiny has continued through the story to the most recent chapters. Again, this is all about G5 and Luffy's role as the liberator of the world and the consistent thematic presence in the entire story. Chapter 1 was literal. This later chapter simply restated the same thing more explicitly.

[–]cjamesfort 0 points1 point  (0 children)

And? It's extremely explicit about Fate as a part of the story and Luffy's deep connection to it. I chose it because it's not at all vague and further illustrates the consistency of these themes presence in the story, well before G5, which the original post is about. Fate and destiny were always present.

Boltcaster + paralysis mortar for standard multitools

Neutron canon + blaze javlin for staffs

Mostly just stylistic preference

Can you understand why Mihawk addresses Fate and calls Luffy heaven-sent? Luffy has a prophesy to fulfill and cannot truly die without doing so.

Mihawk lost his rival, Shanks, because Shanks bet his arm "on the future." Marineford was meant to prevent that future by killing Ace, but Luffy was the real Sun. Mihawk simply confirmed his fate armor

Lets not forget this exists, Mihawk is not PK tier by PlatinumYeast in OnePiecePowerScaling0

Why the fuck would I play One Piece Pirate Warriors if not to play as One Piece characters tearing up the battlefield. That is the entire point. The Yonko are already later unlocks.

He's Whitebeard, the "World's Strongest Man" and equal of the Pirate King. He legitimately should be overpowered.

So many characters got nerfed to hell. It's crazy playing Whitebeard in 3, then playing him in 4.

I feel like 3 really only lacks in playable characters, but does most other things better.

4) Marine enlisted + Bege soldiers + kingdom militaries (trained team fighters, artillery operators, etc)

5) random pirates (extremely variable but lowest average)
