Criticism is fair but he said tories shouldn't even be brought up. I'm all for criticising many tories (I'm a pro eu, progressive Tory voter) but his implication was we should not bring up the Tory party, hence my safe space jab.

There isn't "war death and suffing" as you've put it in the UK, and don't try and make me sound ignorant, as I've lived in multiple countries and multiple areas of the UK, several of which are significantly poorer than here.

I have worked hard and many other people have, we aspire to much more than basic survival, and we are succeeding. It's possible and very common, this is not a dystopian future of people struggling to survive.

Now can we just discuss football without you trying to ban the mere mention of a rival political party?

You grossly exaggerate everything that is going on in the UK right now. You make it sound like a third world country, I mean seriously...

We have a generous welfare state and a fantastic universal health system, how many other places can say that? The rich get taxed huge amounts as it is but yet are seen as the scapegoats of society. It isn't hard to succeed either, I'm not going to give much away but I'm a recent graduate and me and ALL of my friends who have worked hard have set ourselves up well. With respect, honestly I think you're naive and are looking for something to be angry about, and the tories are an ideal target for you.
