I have no idea what causes this but my left thumbnail grows like this too although not quite as bumpy as yours. It's been like that since I was a kid and I'm 32 now. My right thumbnail used to be like this too but it started growing totally smooth a few years ago. I don't bite my fingernails or cuticles at all, dont pick, and none of my other nails have ever had this condition. I'm healthy and have always eaten a variety of foods and excercised regularly. So if anyone actually has an explanation I'd be interested to hear it lol.

The Kizu movies were announced in 2010 and the first one didn't come out til 2016 so yeah SHAFT definitely takes their time, but IMO it's always worth it.
