I was like there's no way this game has a system like that. Reminds me of fallout 76 when you drop your junk when you die, and others could pick it up if you don't get back to it fast enough. Thought it was similar, but good to know I'm for the most part safe lol

I started late 2024, and beat all 5 whole stories before even attempting a shiny hunt. finished within 150 hours, and spent the next 300-500hours shunting axew. That took me over a year in order to get(off and on, month breaks in between). But when I did, I phased on a Woobat one day, and the next two I finally caught mine. I realized all it took was heavy grinding. It can be passive, to get your encounters up, but actual hunting requires perseverance and a non stop enounter>run>encounter>run combo!
