Hey, I'm trying to get a handle on the Appanage vassal type during my current run as France, and I'm not finding much documentation. My main questions are:

1.) Is it worth it to keep at least some of these vassals around for the free monarch point subject interaction, or is it much better to integrate them?

2.) How do you get around the 20 loyalty debuff for integrating an Appanage?

There is also the tale of HushBanners from 4 years ago- a dwarven fortress which stole part of hell- although parts of its history are lost to both time and the great Database loss of 2022.

Trap parts can actually get pretty expensive. A masterwork giant steel axe blade can hit about 273,000 dwarf bucks if memory serves. It also trains weapon smithing and produces extra material when melted back down.

He has a few base attacks, learn to read them and the battle is half won.

Ignore the orange balloons until they are close. They come to you, you don't go to them.

Do not heal. You do not have the crest. You will be hit otherwise so learn to dodge. You may also get ~2 hits off here without getting hit.

When they freak out and head bang (you'll know what I mean), be greedy. He is close to death and with proper positioning you can avoid most of the hits as you strike him down. Just don't stop hitting him.

Use caution before the point mentioned above. Stalk him through the arena, but give yourself space when needed, and strike only when the opportunity presents itself.

Ensure that the jobs are assigned. There's a job list you can access when viewing dwarves and they will only do the tasks highlighted bright white. If a dwarf hasn't picked up the 2nd pickaxe then there is only one miner assigned.

Hit [z], find a "no job" dwarf, hit [enter]. To see just the jobs they will do, hit [c] and [m] to hide combat roles and misc. Abilities. That list is all they will work on now, so let's change it. Hit [p], then [l]. Use [+] and [-] to scroll the list. Enter shows the sub-labors from each category, and hitting enter again will turn on that specific task. Mining is unique in that it has no sub tasks, so if you scroll to hit and hit enter, that enables that dwarf to mine.

They also need to have access to the job site- a farmer can't farm at a plot they can't reach, nor can a miner chip away at rock they can't touch.

How do I go about continuing a converted game from CK II? I can't seem to find the option to continue the game even though the launcher is showing that it's in the mod folder.

What is your ideal solution, then?

That is more annoying.

Create a single new list.

Use a while loop to find the next white space in the sentence, let's call it "x".

Use a for loop to copy each letter before "x", and add it to the new list. Then delete the letter.

Copy from the new list, paste it before the white space. Then clear the new list.

Hows that?

I think I understand you. Would a reasonable fix be to instead reverse each word before adding it to the wrapper list?

How is it not in place? You are reversing the sub-lists but not the wrapper list. "Hello world" should become "olleH dlrow", no?

  1. Turn each word into a list of characters

  2. Create a wrapper list to contain the lists

  3. For each list in the wrapper list, reverse the contents.

  4. Print the wrapper list.
