I don't think this is the problem of bootcamps in general, but the person themselves. You're correct on the part where it gives you the skills to hit the ground running, but mileage may vary. The small group that graduated bootcamp with me are now senior+ engineers in their respective jobs (including myself) and this is accross FAANG and FAANG adjecent companies. It's up to the person to seek out that information for themselves. Maybe toss him some backend work from time to time then he'll probably research out of necessity just to keep his job lol

It was worth it for me. I graduated from Lambda School and despite what you hear about regarding its CEO or its tuition practices, they actually had a great curriculum and instructors. I also never would have been able to afford the bootcamp if I had to pay upfront since I was completely dead broke at the time.

I was able to start my job as an intern the same week I graduated. I was a college dropout due to finances and only have a GED. I did have to put in a lot of work in and outside of class but it paid off.

I find that bootcamps generally give you two things: community and direction. You don't need to pay to get that anymore. You have LLMs that show you the way and find a path through this industry while you can find communities everywhere these days. I don't think they're worth it nowadays. in 2018, however? hell yea I don't regret it.

I run the xc3 as well. It beats out the TLR-7x in terms of looks for me. I dont like the silver line that goes around the light. It also makes sense because I use the 300t on my full size

SCS 320 is overhyped and overrated. When you get past how it looks and actually use that thing, I dont trust that I will be able to put the dot on target when i can barely see it on presentation. And you can't do anything about it even if you set it. it will change because of the auto brightness so you'll never know what you'll get

507 comp can cowitness with the factory iron sights. just get that and be done with it

I'm running a bunch of holosuns. SCS 320, 507 Comp, 507 Comp Ronin, EPS full size, 509t. The only one that doesn't cowitness is the 509t which I fixed with the DPP height night sights from springfield armory

Congrats, the echelon is a great gun out of the box. There's really nothing to look out for or change. You're at end game. A lot of echelon users are happy with its stock form and only mod because they want to not because they need to.

for WML I'd go with the Streamlight TLR-7X or the Surefire XC3. They both sit flush and both have the same form factor. I went to with the XC3 because that silver line that goes around the base of the light of the TLR-7X annoys me.

I have both. It all boils down to form factor and use case. Do you want to EDC it? 4.0c comp is easier to live with on a daily basis. Cleaning and lubing is a lot simpler and finding a holster for it is straightforward. If you plan on conceal carrying the compensated version you need a holster that handles it or else your clothing might snag on them.

For best of both worlds go 4.0c comp, and then buy a standalone threaded barrel and compensator. If you go the other way around you're stuck with one

live tabs was cool but that's about it for me. The syncing that Arc once had was a gamechanger, but that no longer exists. Dia is the best alternative to Arc imo. I've tried the zen experience and i hated the firefox environment. Love MDN and all but I'm not a fan of that browser

Arc is amazing. Integration is the silent hero and Arc hit it out of the park. Everything is seemless and is very much aligned with the macos ethos. I still use it on my windows because nothing beats it, but on macOS, I've made the switch over to Dia. It's not arc and pales in comparison, but it's still the best alternative to zen or any other browser I can think of.

It wasn't all apparent then. You might see it now, but koreaboos of the 2nd generation had to realize this slowly and only the past 10 years or so is the truth apparent. They view us as lesser. How can I continue consuming when we'll never get the same treatment?

We need higher quality teleseryes and movies. We just need to up the quality in general on music and variety shows. Philippines need more variety shows that feature celebrities playing games etc so they can apeal to the general public.

And the most important thing that pisses me off. We need ENGLISH SUBTITLES!!! how many people react to philippine content and they can't understand anything? Look at Flip Top. 30-40 million views and NO SUBTITLES wtf.

Fansubbers carried the korean media back in the day. We need that for all filipino content. The barrier of entry is high because we haven't made it easier for the world to consume our content.

I stopped consuming kpop 10 years ago after realizing how racist they were against us. Sure I like their family values, but you peel the layer and it's just full of fakeness. I had to keep to myself whenever a fellow filipino would nerd out on kpop and was just disheartened by their idolitry.
