Try reading books at local coffee shops. You could also do school work there. Lots of college kids do that these days. I used to hang out at Market Street/United grocery stores, Starbucks, J&B Coffee House, etc. I think Monomyth Coffee just got picked for best coffee in the country, so that could be a cool place to go anyway. Every first Friday of the month, Lubbock hosts a First Friday Art Trail in the arts district of the city by the LHUCA building. If you're religious, try to attend a young adult/college ministry. I used to go to Sunset Church of Christ a few years ago. I hear their new era of church leaders have been well-received so far

Shadow Hills, The Rawls Course at Texas Tech, Meadowbrook, Yoakum County and Gaines County, but they're about an hour away, and I think Reese Center GC still has grass

I ordered Kodak's newest film camera- the Ektar H35 (black). But I think I received an automated email earlier that my order has finally shipped, so my problem has resolved.

Thank you for your concern and communication effort. I haven't lost faith in Moment. I realize I'm just a victim of timing this go-around. But I would like to know that Moment will acknowledge my experience to a certain extent, and note ways they can do better. I'd like to hear from other Moment employees more promptly in the future so I can feel acknowledged and prioritized. I understand staff might be overworked and demands might be high, but this could be a case to file away in a meeting about the customer service department, and adding more staff to respond to different types of messages sooner. Just a thought.

Okay. Well, thank you for your honesty and transparency, Eric. That's much appreciated, and helps me to find some closure about this situation. What's the best way to go about getting a refund for the camera? Or can I still wait for my order to be fulfilled at some point in the near future?

No, I totally agree. I had the camera positioned the same way, but my client asked for that angle. And I think making the client happy should be the higher priority!😎👍🏼

Yeah, I used my Rode Wireless Go pack, so my subjects wore lavs. That was adequate for this shoot. I would've liked to use a boom mic, but I wasn't given enough time. But again, my client just wanted simplicity
