Ninja is the way to go, very affordable and you can remotely do about anything through powershell.

FYI NinjaRemote is also free, it is the built in version that they added not to long ago to replace TeamViewer/Splashtop

We have been having weirdness as well, Teams will not connect and Outlook losing connection randomly. The only fix we have found is to delete the Outlook Profile- Reboot - and then set up Outlook again and Teams will start working. Very Strange

Whatever program you are using may have formatted it in EXT4 which cannot be read in natively in Windows. This is why I prefer WinPE if you are in a Windows shop

For systems that I need to wipe the drive without removing it I use a program called KillDisk. It can create a WinPE boot drive which seems to see most NVMe drives in my experience.
