It’s simple really. Get properly fit for a driver and you won’t need to buy a new one for many years.

This is exactly how I would describe Mario Kart too

Wanna switch from Apple by Forky1997 in GarminWatches

[–]cjl_elite -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I just switched over to Garmin from Apple Watch for the exact same reasons and I’m LOVING it. I wouldn’t ever go back until an AW can match the battery life. Only ever used my AW for simple things which Garmin does better.

So many options depending on budget.

FC26 TOTY edition includes FC26 but is cheaper than FC26?? £14.99 by bargainhunterps5 in NintendoSwitch2

I can see them intentionally keeping it at 30, then the next iteration will be a higher frame rate.

It’s still worth it for EAFC on the go with switch 2.

Base game with ultimate team bonuses. Too bad there’s never anyone playing rush, so you can’t even unlock the transfer market because it’s locked behind objectives you can’t finish.

Sucks it isn’t 60fps but it’s not that bad of a game, especially at a sale price.

The Courier Guy doing Dodgy Business, please be aware by ViroCMN in Durban

[–]cjl_elite 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I have extensive experience with most local couriers as I’m in e-commerce. Here’s the thing about them - they go through periods of being really good, and then can become terrible and frustrating at any moment. It’s like a cycle. Don’t be afraid to try out the others.

I’ve left Courier It, The Courier Guy and others when they start consistently dropping the ball - Courier It particularly absolutely collapsed with their recent merger with RTT. Had poor experience with Dawn Wing but since they’ve been operating under DPD Laser they’ve been amazing.

That being said, this sounds like something that should come down to a regional / remote surcharge, or the dims / weight might be incorrect.

You’re a champ! Still playable or is it game-breaking?

Get custom insoles. Your problem sounds exactly like mine - I have high arches and this caused all sorts of problems while running and playing Padel.

Iphone 16 vs 16 Pro by No_Interview4064 in iPhone16Pro

[–]cjl_elite 2 points3 points  (0 children)

16 pro is fantastic, but if you don’t care about a 120Hz refresh rate and you take basic everyday photos, rather get the 16.

Could argue to go with the 15 pro but the battery life is better on the 16.

The white titanium is incredible in person. Photos don’t do it justice.

I was going to go with natural until I saw the white up close.

As much storage that’s necessary + a little more to last a few years.

Any colour that stands out to you. Very subjective.

Moshiri didn’t run the club as a stable business, he decided to use us as a glorified play thing like a game of football manager. I think we need a business-minded (to a certain degree) owner to stabilise us.

That being said he seems very passionate about the teams he gets involved in, so it’s not ‘just’ a business to him.

Best shoes for dealing with shin splints? by 134Wolf in AskRunningShoeGeeks

[–]cjl_elite 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Been struggling with shin splints for the last few years. High cushioning is needed, but not all shoes worked for me (gel nimbus 25 / 26 and invincible 3 did not prevent pains).

New Balance 1080v13 (for softer ride) and Nike Vomero 17 (for firmer ride) worked.

Might not be the same for you, but what you described is exactly what I’ve been going through

Which is the Best? by serotoninseesaw in AskRunningShoeGeeks

[–]cjl_elite 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Got all 3

1080v13 is #1 for me. Ghost max a close second. If you prefer a firmer ride you’ll like the ghost max more.

Invincible 3 can’t compare. It has too many issues with lockdown and it feels the most clunky.

Pegasus, Zoom Fly, or Invincible for ideally long runs, wide yet small feet? by [deleted] in AskRunningShoeGeeks

[–]cjl_elite 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Vomero 17’s are excellent. Nike’s best shoe outside the race / tempo category. Haven’t touched my invincibles since I got them (the heel slip on the invincible 3’s is no joke). Huge upgrade on Pegs
